Barlow’s and Jefferson’s Declarations
Abstract
Barlow and Jefferson wrote independence declarations about the industrial world. The declaration of independence by America from British Empire was the founding moment of the nation. Upton 1776 colonialist believed the British offered their citizens freedom and protection. Most of the relationships between the Britain and its colonies were mutually beneficial. Barlow, in his declaration did not recognize that there was an elected government nor were they likely to have one .He regard his government as naturally independent and their bodies don’t have an identity.
Barlow says that his government’s concept of property, expression, identity, and movement does not apply to them. He says their bodies do not have identities and they believe in ethics and well being of everybody. He talks of the increasing hostile measures which place his country in the previous position as those of the lovers of freedom. Jefferson also wants to create a world where humanity is important and oppressions of citizens and people from their colonies stop.
Jefferson thinks that this united colonies should be free an independent states .that are not governed by the British government and that any connections between them and the grit Britain should be cut to allow these nations to be free and that these nations should have their own powers to govern them.
