Final LDP Reflection Paper – Guidelines
As you are approaching the end of your EMBA program, it is important to invest some time to take stock of your LDP Journey. Reviewing and reflecting upon your learning experiences during the LDP Journey is a crucial part of the Leadership Development cycle.
In order to obtain a “pass” for the LDP, you are asked to prepare a Reflection Paper (minimum 2 pages) with the following objective:
- Summarize your reflections and personal insights: Reviewing your Leadership Journal, what have you learned about yourself and your leadership during the LDP? What has changed? How will it impact your future?[unique_solution]
Below are some elements that you might consider including in your reflection paper:
- A renewed statement of the Personal Vision that you outlined for yourself during the LDP introduction
- Learning from the 360° Feedback process and initial group coaching session
- New insights from the LDP leadership labs regarding your preferred Leadership Styles and the styles required by your current role or the role you aspire to
- Reflections on how you have explored and articulated possible unconscious
Drivers & Blockers
- An update on the adaptive Leadership Challenge(s) you have been facing
- Progress made in implementing change initiatives from your Development Plan (What worked and what did not? What were the reasons and implications?)
- Your experience with your LDP Coaching Group (What was your influence on the group dynamics? What have you learned about yourself through these group interactions and how will this help you make the best of future group/team dynamics?)
- Learning from your Peer Exchange experience(s)
- Changes in your personal and professional situation that you may be considering or that may have already occurred
