Rhetorical Analysis Essay Assignment
Rhetorical analysis focuses on the techniques used in the art of persuasion. Specifically, how the author uses words and images to persuade an audience a certain way.
This essay will require you to find a speech that was given to a specific community (does not need to be the community you have chosen for your other essays). The speech could be a political speech, or any other type of specialized speech given to a specific audience. You must choose a speech to which you have online access and a transcript.
Your essay focuses on the techniques used throughout this speech. Don’t summarize the speech; instead, focus on specific techniques used at key places throughout the speech.[unique_solution]
