Summary of Ramona Chapter 3
The story is about a young girl known as Ramona, who was taken care of by Senora Moreno, who was a sheep ranch owner. Ramona is considered as an essential character in this story since she was of a mixed-race and was not entirely accepted by Moreno despite her being requested to take care of her after Ramona’s mother passed away. Despite the mixed reactions experienced in the story towards Ramona, she pressed on and struggled to ensure that she was accepted by those close to her.
Later in the story, Alessandro came to the farm to take part in sheep shearing. Alessandro was a Native American and he fall in love with Ramona. Moreno was not happy with the relationship between the two who went forward and moved out of the village. Considering that their relationship was not accepted by most people, the couple struggled to move from village to village, lost a lot of material possessions until the time when Alessandro died.
