Game Introductory Encounter
Set up
The party is located in Maar village of Sonia. The set up of this game consist of village warriors. And they are served with an emergency message that their king’s herd has been raided. The warriors come from different homesteads, and as they are brought together by this scenario, they introduce themselves as men of the watch. They interrogate the chief’s guard to know what happened. The guard explains that a group of heavily armed warriors from the neighbouring village raided the herd early morning and made up with 50 cattle. It is quite hard for the chief to believe the situation because the chief’s home has never been raided before.
Introduction to the investigation: the warriors who are now the players head towards Juambe. It is a vast forest west of the village 14 miles away from. In the forest, the warriors start hearing the rustling of leaves inside the forest. They suspect the cattle must have been kept there. The players get deep into the woods, and more signs of the herd are witnessed. Within a short moment of navigation, in front of them appears a huge cowshed hosting the herd. The warriors send signals to indicate positions to prepare for the battle.
The battle preparation: the players gather around. They take positions, and the head of the team navigates towards the yard. The head warrior does not appear to notice any threat inside the forest. They decide to proceed with the search to the east part of the forest. After a short period of navigation, there appears some smoke emerging from the opposite side of the forest. This alerts the warriors of danger ahead. After getting a deeper approach towards the smoke direction, there appears two gigantic masked gentlemen holding sharp spears on their hands. This alerts danger. If the two giant men blow the whistle, it is a sign to inform their members to prepare for war.
The combat: the warriors will have to deal with the two watchmen before the actual battle begins. Now they must contend with these two men to play a safe war.
Encounter 1: as they the head warrior tries to approach the gate, he is attacked by the watchmen with a poisonous spear.
Encounter 2: The warriors engage in the battle, and the watchmen are killed. The situation is now worse because war challenge has been declared. Six men appear armed who are suddenly outnumbered and killed but the warriors.
Encounter 3: The warriors invade the homestead and the head of the gang is surrounded by two heavily armed men. The warrior takes their chances to battle the party and with the help of their group members, thy fight to win the war.
The gang head is put into arrest, and before returning to the other part of the forest to retrieve the herd, two men from the warriors are asked to take the first approach to the shed to survey further threats. It seems clear, and the warriors’ mission to rescue the herd is successful.
On their return to the village, the warriors are welcomed, and the gang head is presented to the chief for questioning. There is going to be a rude judgement that awaits him for conducting a raid in the chief’s homestead.
The judgement is made, and the gang head is put into a punishment. From now, the village has selected several guards responsible for guarding the area during the night. The first gate to the chief’s homestead is guarded by two warriors
