Adverting Strategy

An excellent post it is, the product selected in this case is Tide, and the student is familiar with it. This discussion on its performance will be easy for the student. I agree with the selection of product since the post indicates the introduction of the product in the market. The different changes that have been made to the product since its introduction in the market have also been indicated. I agree with how the marketing strategies have been discussed and how the product can incorporate them in its marketing. The post clearly discuses every strategy and how it can be implemented . for example, the company can use generic, which requires the company to pay attention to the needs of the customers and understand the demographic traits. Through this, it will be able to market its products to specific customers.

An excellent post is since the student has selected a product and explained how the marketing strategies could be incorporated. However, the student has not chosen a product from the table 4.2 as required by the discussion instruction. It is, therefore, recommendable for the student to follow the instructions in the future. The student gives an illustration of how the golf cart industry can use these strategies in its marketing and how it will impact the performance of the organization in terms of its marketing. The post has also given an example of how a company can improve on its brand imaging, whereby it can select a brand that is outstanding such as Yamaha. I want to add more to Generic study and brand positioning. The company can improve on it generic by conducting market analysis since this will help in understanding the needs of customers. For brand positioning, the company can align its products with the needs of the customers.
Ethics in advertising

I strongly agree with this post based on how points have been illustrated. The post follows the instructions, and it has incorporated the concepts and examples from the lecture. It has elaborated on what makes a campaign global, and this relates to how the company does its marketing. It recommends that companies must carefully understand ethics and culture when deciding to go global. By understanding the culture of the countries that the company is intending to operate in, this enables it to align itself with the culture of the country. I would also like to add other benefits associated with understanding the cultures of foreign countries whereby the company overcomes the conflicts that may arise. Also, the post has given three advertisements that include McDonald’s, United States, and Mexico and how they use both traditional and internet venues in their advertisement. How culture and ethics influence the ads has also been illustrated.

I agree with the post as it has explained how global marketing contributes towards company advertisement. By going global, the company exposes its products to the global markets, and this increases the level of its sales. I would also like to add that by going global, the company increases the level of its competition in the international markets, and also its customer base is increased. The post has also stated that there is a need for a company to research the ethics and culture of the global market since this will enable us to understand how it can fit in the market. I also agree with the three advertisements given by the student, which include Coca-Cola, Dunkin Donuts, and KFC. The student has illustrated how culture and ethics influence the ads.
