Clarification Email
Dear Ms. Joyce Dunbar,
I am writing to you humbly requesting your assistance in gauge our website accessibility to people living with disabilities. The IT manager feels that the company’s website is not up to entirely up to the task of complying with specific laws regarding Website accessibility to the disabled population. My concern is that if the disabled cannot in any way benefit from the website, then we will be losing our customer base and remain bias to this population.
I am fully aware that you are a marketing professional with a long client contact list as well as ample experience in this field. My humble request is that you help us determine if the company’s website accessibility is efficient to the disabled population or not. I am also aware that you may have experienced difficulties accessing our company’s website due to some issues regarding web accessibility to people with disabilities. If you have noticed any concern regarding the company’s website accessibility in the past, then write to me at this early stage on areas that need correction for a better service in the future.
As a person who has experience with accessing websites that supports people with disability, I am confident that you will be of much help in this research. I hope that you will consider my humble request and help us with your perspective regarding this website. Also, we are sure that the site is not fully compliant with specific laws about website accessibility, but our main concern is its accessibility to the disadvantaged group.
I look forward to receiving a written response to this email, providing the main areas that need to be reviewed for better interaction with this disadvantaged group. If it is possible, please write to me before our next meeting on Friday.
Yours Sincerely
