Envision: What I Expect to Learn?
I expect to learn from the ANR experience that the learning process comprises of multiple players from a different background who come together with a common course. Each of the students joins the class having a different expectation that must be respected. The student learning experience is founded on 210 and 310 classes. These two classes do not only provide the students with required knowledge but also create a common combines their learning experience as they gain knowledge together.
Through gaining knowledge together, I expect to learn how students from different background share a collective learning experience. This is because, historically, students from the diverse background were incompatible due to differences in colour, religion, and ethnicity, among others. Thus, how the students integrate harmoniously in ANR 410 class will be a great insight.
I will also expect to learn how the students have transitioned for class 210, 310, and now 410. How have their experiences through the knowledge gained changed? Thus, I will be required to understand whether, over time, there have progressively gained more knowledge? In so doing, I will expect to comprehend whether there have been changes in their objectives of learning from each year to the next. I shall also expect to ascertain whether there have been changes in the teaching strategies.
Lastly, I expect to learn the strategies the students and the instructors have embraced to ensure they progress from one year to another until the present ANR 410 class. This is because I know the learning process is complicated, and there are many obstacles to overcome. Hence, I expect to be enlightened about how the students have endured while gaining knowledge and sharing experiences.
