This project is a flight booking app focusing on the traveler. The main functionality of the app is flight booking. Furthermore, the app allows travelers to write a review about the app and rate it. This review is visible to other travelers who wish to use the same service.
To develop this application, the following knowledge on a flight booking is required. Registration of a new user, how to edit the detail of the customer, logging in and login out, searching a flight, Making a payment using the various methods, canceling a ticket. The primary users of the application are the customers booking the flights, the travel agencies and the airlines offering the services. The app will run on mobile devices.
The application will have the following features that the user can access; Home Page. The user will access the homepage to login into the app. The information on the home page includes flights, packages, and motels.
Login and register. This is the customer registration page where the customer inputs their details such as first name, last name, Date of birth, email address. They also create a username and password.
Booking flights. Customers search for available flights and reserve a booking by purchasing a ticket.
Book motels. You can access this button if you want to book a motel before boarding your flight.
Book Packages. The customer can search for the best package available at their destination.
The customer can contact the travel agency in case they have questions concerning the flight they want to book. There is also a booking instructions button detailing how a customer can book a flight or motel.
The primary constraint of this app is that it will be developed for android and IOS when there are changes in the database; they are automatically reflected on the user interface.
