DIY Easy Homemade Face Mask for Radiant and Glowing Skin

Glowing skin is a measure of its care, and the foundation of any excellent skincare routine is face masks. Face masks are essential solutions for aging, dry, acne-prone, congested, or dull skin. And lucky for you, there’s more than one way to apply them: sheet, mud, splash, etc., I’m sure you will find a favorite form for your face.

You also no longer have to rush to Sephora every other week for brand new face masks. With simple DIY homemade face masks, you can say goodbye to your once-favorite spa and treat your skin to some TLC right in your kitchen. Here’s how to make homemade face masks for radiant and glowing skin:

Honey Face Masks

Honey is an excellent natural moisturizer and one of the best remedies for acne-prone skin. It gives the skin a beautiful glow helping evade reddening and scaring. And that is why it’s an essential ingredient in DIY homemade face masks:

1.      Yogurt honey face mask

To make the yogurt honey face mask at home, just mix a little bit of greek yogurt with honey and then apply the mixture on your face using a brush. This face mask is a little bit messy, but once it dries, it’s all good because you can leave it on your face for a long time, and everyone around you none the wiser……

Yogurt with a little bit of honey mixture is a great face mask because yogurt is nature’s gift to humanity to keep our insides as well as our outside glowing. Yogurt is excellent for your body. Inside the body, yogurt probiotics, which are tiny microorganisms that live in yeast and bacteria, are good for your gut health. Plus, yogurt contains essential proteins and sugars.

Outside your body, yogurt can also work wonders on the skin; it contains lactic acid, which helps exfoliate and soften the skin. And the probiotics help fight acne and inflammation.

Applying a yogurt honey mask is kind of using a scrub but without the harsh scrubbing. It will leave your skin radiant and glowing.

To prepare the oatmeal honey mask, just mix one tablespoonful of oat flour or whole-grain oats with two tablespoonfuls of honey. First, massage this mix onto your skin for exfoliation then leave it on as a mask for about 20 minutes. Finally, rinse off the mask with lukewarm water.

For even softer and more supple skin, you can add some milk in the oat-honey mix. Just a tablespoon of milk should do the trick. Oatmeal honey face masks are excellent for both oily and dry skin, by absorbing excess amounts of oil from the skin, these masks help reduce oily skin issues. And that is why oatmeal face masks are a favorite among beauty enthusiasts worldwide.

3.     Avocado honey mask

Avocados are great for your insides; they contain vitamin E, antioxidants, and healthy fats, which are the essential building block for hormones; they are also essential for cognitive functions, gut health and help fight inflammation. But who said you couldn’t play with avocados on your skin too?

You can harness the power of the healthy fats, antioxidants, and vitamins E in avocados for your skin.
