A Historical figure is a person who is famous in history. The impressiveness of such characters in human advancement got
discussed. They play a critical appearance according to some, while others say they have few effects on the vast currents of deliberation and communal change. I am going to talk about Abraham Lincoln and his achievements in this paper. More about this topic will be discussed later on in the paper.
Political achievements
Abraham Lincoln was a political figure and an attorney who served as the 16th president of the united state of America (1861-1865). He led the country during its unsurpassed ethical, constitutive, and political entanglement during the American civil war.[3][4] He rescued the union dissolved slavery, consolidated the federal government, and streamlined the U.S. economy( Lamon n.p).
Social achievements
IN 1849 Lincoln restituted to his law custom but became irritated by the unbolting of more lands to slavery as a consequence of the Kansas Nebraska Act. He got back to politics in 1854 and became the superior in the new Republican Party, hence reaching a national assembly in the 1958 discussions against Stephen Douglas (Omar, Khayri, Rosemary Stockdale, et., al,672). Lincoln ran for the presidency in 1860, confining the North with an overthrow. Pro-servitude constituents in the south, equated his victory with the North’s denial of their right to process slavery and the southern state started quitting from the union.
Economic achievements
Lincolns Extraordinary representation in history lies in his maintenance of the union and termination of slavery. His pre-occupation during the early years of his political career before he got entangled in the antislavery war, was the advancement of the U.S. economy. The victory that he and the Republican legislators relished during the 1860 election was due in large part to their economic policies. These include the government base for enlargement of the nation’s railroad network plus the homestead laws, which gave eastern factory laborer’s the chance to systematize western lands.

To conclude, the above achievements make Abraham Lincon popular through the efforts he put into developing his nation politically, socially, and economically. His perseverance, commitment, and patience also make him one of the greatest leaders in the world since despite the many times he lost during the elections, he never gave up.
