Analysis: annual Smallville Fair the eventis for everybody within the community to come and enjoy themselves. This means that people are free to enjoy different activities and see various new things. Such kind of event doesn’t differentiate students and other citizens. The primary purpose is for people to satisfy their spirits of adventure and show up their different looks, talents, and interact. No rule which has been set that when coming to the event, people should wherein certain way based on their position. However, the community is Christian oriented, and there are some of the things that people are required to follow, even if no one is there to watch and direct them. When given a specific position, it’s a good indication that the person should not do some things which leaves other people asking themselves a lot of questions. Any senior person within the community, either in school or any other place, should know how to behave when in different areas. The leaders handling the people under them should know how to cope with everyone by communicating to them accordingly. The principal was surprised since he never expected such a star could betray the schoolreputation through his actions. The community does not offer necessary programs that analyze the responses of everyone. The event is just set for everyone to come to enjoy themselves. Therefore, dressing code either for the students or othercitizens, does not have any regulations on how people should wear. Furthermore, the dressing code by gunner nobody could be recognized if he was students or just any other citizen. The principal identified him because he a member of the school and leading the football team. The principal decision of suspending a gunner could be right as a way of correcting him to do the right things and preparing him for good leadership. However, this kind of punishment could fail since he had not heard from the gunner. As the student explained, he had freedom of speech. Maybe he targeted to clarify as to why he had dressed like that to the principal. Deciding to give a two-weeksuspension was not the right decision since he should have listened to why gunner acted that way. Everybody has their way of understanding things, and people perceive things differently. In this scenario, both the principal and the student had different perceptions. However, the gunner was not wrong since there are no clear indications on how people should behave in such an event. Therefore, the gunner could win the case.
Conclusion: No, because the community does not have a clear program which indicates on how people should dress or behave when attending such kind of the event, and the gunner had not offended anyone by wearing like that; nobody could know if he was the student, only the people known to him.
