My JUNG profile suggests i have a specific rating on certain attributes when it comes to professionalism. According to the test, I have a slight preference for extraversion over introversion (19%), a slight inclination of sensing over intuition (6%), moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling (38%), and slight preference of judging over perceiving (12%). It gets suggested that I thrive on order and continuity with and affinity of seeking out like-minded people. He test indicate that I love receiving and giving exceptional service while expressing real responsibility. I often reflect on my evaluations by a strong sense of what is normal and what is not. I have an affinity to develop and promote work ethics, and I rarely have lazy tendencies. The characteristics mentioned above maintain that my choice in a business accounting career gets well placed.

Some of the responsibilities I will have to include the provision of financial information to managerial staff through analysis and research of accounting data and report preparation. I will prepare liability, capital, and asset account entries through the compilation of a review of accounting information. I will e in charge of summarizing the current status of finances via collecting of data, preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other reports. Through the following internal controls, I will be able to maintain financial security. My role will extend to overseeing and guidance of accounting clerical personnel through question answering and staff coordination. Finally, I will be in charge of customer confidence maintenance and operation protection via confidentiality in financial information.

In my opinion, the accounting career that suits me is Budget Analysis.  A budget analyst is responsible for analyzing budgets in a for-profit organization while looking for better methods of resource utilization to increase profits. The Bureau of Labor Statistics suggests that around 31% of people in this field are under the employ of the government. Most of their roles include determining ways of efficiently distributing resources and funds among departments. In some cases, they help in the performance evaluation of some programs, budget drafting related legislation, and analysis of financial policies.

Accounting history is traced back to ancient civilizations, especially in Mesopotamia, where there is evidence of developed money, writing, and accounting. There also seems to be pieces of evidence supporting the possibility of new auditing practices among ancient Babylonians and Egyptians. Till the occupation and rule by the Roman Empire, governments had complete access to detailed financial information. In other places like India, a manuscript resembling a business management book got discovered while in Italy, Luca Pacioli is considered the father of accounting and bookkeeping. Scotland gets regarded as the origin of the profession of chartered accounting.

Luca Pacioli and Italian mathematician and the father of accounting is my historical figure. His dedication to commerce and trade is the main reason for his venturing in accounting. Exposed to the vibrant and influential business scene in Venice, it gave him an understanding of the workings in organizational finance. He had a collection of qualifications from credentials he attained from various institutions of higher learning. His association with minds like Leonardo DaVinci proved helpful in his publications of his work. He made discoveries in accounting that to date are quite influential and depended upon by modern accountants namely;

• The rule of 72 (a method of determining economic returns)
• Use of ledgers
• Journals
• Bookkeeping
• Balance sheet
• Income statement

As a freshman in the budget analysis field, one often starts with straightforward roles like preparation and posting of journal entries, closing end-of-month accounts, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. In the current accounting budget, analysts use a database, financial analysis, and spreadsheet software. Enterprise Resource Planning programs are a familiar feat in many organizations in the process of budgeting Mora & Triana, 2018).  Strong verbal and written communication skills are an essential requirement in budget analysts in tandem with technical and financial capabilities.  I believe that I possess the traits mentioned above, making this segment of accounting suitable to my taste.

I support my research because the accounting field is a physically and emotionally demanding arena. One must possess both strong emotional and intellectual qualities to make it through the initial and regular events in accounting. The need for a high and steady supply of discipline and dedication ensures efficiency in functioning and target acquisition. Given my analysis in the JUNG test, I believe that I possess the traits mentioned above, and I am in the process of further developing and getting more.

Nancy Pelosi is such a person in our modern society that has the same traits and qualities. It is evident from her personality that she gets things done through dedication and a natural sense of purpose. I believe the iconic woman and I possess the same outright characteristics to make it in our respective fields.
