Multitasking can have a lot of negative aspects of studying. This is because the full attention is not attained while studying it instead gives studying limited attention towards the work you are studying and increased distractions. Multitasking negatively impacts studying; this is because there is no full attention to studying. In multitasking, one does not give full attention to learning. Without a substantial concentration in studying, one cannot give an account of the subject that one was reading through. Therefore multitasking can be distractor that is negative towards studying.

On reading the book, the first part that I read without listening to music was very well understood. I had excellent knowledge of the part and concrete ideas of what it entailed. I understood it very well, and I could provide an account of everything that is contained in the page. On the other hand, the page that I read multitasking I could not even give an account of what I was reading, the music I was listening to was a negative distractor towards studying the page. Therefore, I could not understand several concepts there.

The first document was more precise and had a concrete understanding of what the page entailed while the page that I read while listening to music had lesser ideas, and the points with the definitions do not show out in a way that one has understood the paper. Therefore the music I listened to become a destructor while I was multitasking, thereby affecting the understanding of the page negatively.

Multitasking makes time to be less productive since one cannot give an account of what he/she was doing (Arslantas 2017). It interfered with my ability to learn in such a way that I could not remember the things I read very well. Also, I could not remember the things that I read since I was listening to music while reading. This affected my concentration; hence I could not remember what I read.
