Gospel of Matthew and First Timothy notable differences in their teachings
Question 5
I agree with your views that the Gospel of Matthew and First Timothy have notable differences in their teachings. In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus is constantly preaching regarding the kingdom of heaven. For instance, the teachings on the kingdom of heaven ask people to have good faith if they want to inherit the kingdom of God. I support your views that message from the Gospel of Matthew is that people should always strive to lead an authentic life, and they will receive the kingdom of God. I also support your views on the book of First Timothy. Paul speaks about the need to stay justified through faith. When an individual does something wrong, they still have a chance to enter heaven as long as they believe in God. Paul also states that when people have faith in God, they will always be forgiven regardless of the kind of mistakes they make in life.
Question 4
I agree with your views on the ideas of Paul to the Galatians. Indeed no one can ever be justified by their works, but by having faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus came and died for our sins, and by doing so, he redeemed the humans if their sins. What one is required to do is to believe and trust in God. For his love for mankind, Jesus sent his only son to die for our sins, and through faith in him, humans can be saved. I also agree with your views that the ideas we have shared all along the week have centered the fact that people will reap what they sow, and everyone will bear their burdens once the judgment day comes. This shows that everything that people engage in has consequences and they have to deal with it, no shortcuts, by understanding this, people will learn to tread carefully in all the things they engage in life.
