The Future
When I think about America, I see power, advancement, and significant influence. The United States of America is a rich country that has a considerable impact all over the world. The advancement of the country has spread wide in terms of technology, education, medicine, infrastructure, military power, and land resources. I am personally amazed at the amount of development that America has had in just two centuries. Moving from eras of racism to even electing a black president is quite a tremendous development. Growing from limiting women to vote to have gender equality is also amazing. Also, recently accepting gay marriages and LGBTQI people into their healthy society is quite a feat. I think that America represents change. A people that came together from different parts of the world and decided to work hard for a brighter future. America should not be about one race, but it should be about a success story of many ethnic and racial groups that came together to bring the greatest nation in the 21st century.
Two centuries is a very long time not to have changed. The founding fathers of America saw the vision of a very great nation that would be able to take care of the needs of its people while as well ensure that the people were protected from external attacks. The dream has become true partly, and despite the little occurrences, America has remained firm and strong as a nation. There have been significant developments to its economy, and except for a few global financial crises’, America has maintained the journey to economic stability as a developed country. It has been a critical element in aiding developing nations to achieve political stability in terms of technology. America also leads in innovation and technology with many out of space missions by NASA, new disease diagnosis, groundbreaking environmental projects, and, last but not least, mediation missions in the Middle East.
I believe that America is there to assist other nations in becoming better both in terms of developments and also in fostering better relations with the rest of the world. With the various peacekeeping missions the country has attended, as well as the significant amount in financial aid the country has given developing nations. I feel that America aspires to have a world where every country is economically stable and that there are good relations between countries to a point where there is no war. Many African countries have benefited from significant financial aids by America. Such finances are usually pumped into building schools, providing food for the hungry people, and, more importantly, in industrialization that increases the revenues of these countries. It is, therefore, evident that America has been strategic in helping developing nations attain peace, economic stability, and massive infrastructure development.
Despite technological advancements and significant developments, America also deals with a couple of setbacks, including pollution, lifestyle diseases, and the harsh economic times that have made life harder for its people. Just like any other country, America is trying its best to cope with such challenges and hopefully come out successfully. An issue such as terrorist attacks is a significant challenge but is also being addressed with extra vigilance through the support of its massive security teams. I believe that the American people have worked hard to see to its development and the achievement of such success. It is, therefore, the duty of other nations, to equally address the challenges they are going through thoroughly, and hopefully believe that one-day they will attain such achievements. America is, therefore, an excellent example of hard work, perseverance, and the tenacity to succeed that most countries are yet to develop.
