Best effort service model
This is a single service model whereby an application sends data to any intended hosts in any amount without first checking for permission. This eliminates the slowness in the designated network and thus making video conferencing efficient. This model does not have Tspec and Rspec.
A best-effort model does not give any assurances on when the information will be conveyed or the nature of that information when it is transmitted. In a best-service model, organize all the clients on the system is given a best-exertion administration, implying that they are given an unknown piece rate and conveyance time, and this will change contingent upon what number of clients are on the system at a specific time.
Integrated service model
This involves the application requesting a specific type of service from the network before it sends data. It uses the Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP), which can be used by applications to address the QoS requirements to the routers. It was developed by a reliable delivery data service. Its data-oriented services and is able to withstand delay but not the loss of packets. It allows services that are real-time, interactive, and can tolerate loss but require a bound on the suspension. It supports real-time and unreal time applications.
