A Patriot Woman Whose Husband Has Gone to War
As a patriot woman whose husband has gone to war and has remained at home, I would wake up and say a prayer for my husband and the loyalist militia. I would then do the house chose as I always think of how good it will be when everything is over, and we get the independence we need. However, I would be elated where my husband happened to come back home safe (FORA TV, 2013). I would give everything I have to see that eventuality. After the house chores, I would go to my next-door neighbour, where I will meet a third friend already there. As three women whose patriotic husbands are engaged in the Revolutionary War, our aim is to keep contact with each other more often. It is through the process that we manage to obtain solace from one another that everything will be okay.
We manage to talks about various stories around the Revolutionary War. For instance, we talk about the battles which have occurred recently and the side which experienced a win in it. The one thing which we happen to focus on more is the idea that the war needs to end soon. Although we are on the patriots side, our aim is not to see more blood being shed. Instead, we are hoping that the war shall come to an end soon (FORA TV, 2013). We would be happy where both sides engaged in the war would put their arms down and had a proper discussion on the way forward. We believe that it is through appropriate negotiations that the best outcomes are likely to be obtained. The best decision will be met without having to lose more lives. Through the talks which we have, we remember to pray for our husbands together. We remind ourselves that we have the core-purpose of ensuring that we do our part in ensuring that the war comes to an end. Eventually, in the evening, I head back to my house while full of hope that the next day shall be better. It is only hoped that makes us live from one day to another.
