Ethic culture refers to the well-founded standards that assist in categorizing actions right or wrong (Koocher & Keith-Spiegel, 2016). Ethics influences individuals behaviours and hence ability to make right decisions, (Knouse  & Giacalone, 2017).

             For a society to grow morally upright, ethical values such as honesty, discipline and integrity are crucial elements. My urge to become a professional educator is highly motivated through the learning of the significance of the ethical values in society.

In my opinion, zero tolerance and second chance should be used simultaneously in learning institutions.

A video of a small girl being bullied by a group of girls until she cries continues to be shared widely on the social media platform. Such unethical manners should be discouraged, and instead, the urge of being your sister’s keeper needs emphasis. Another unethical incidence mostly witnessed in an article that reported on the rapid increase in theft cases in learning institutions (Ruankaew, 2019). Students are stealing school uniforms and textbooks, especially in boarding institutions. Moral lessons need to be a part of school course work this will ensure ethical values among the students.

According to Marta Gluchmanova journal article, the importance of ethic in the teaching profession is that teachers can remove the hurdles that they face every day in performing their teaching duties.

Human dignity is a requirement that every teacher ought to possess. A teacher should be able to portray dignity and respect based on how he delivers his professional obligation and at the same time, teaches the students how to respect each other.
