Importance of ethic education

Question 1

Ethic culture refers to the well-founded standards that assist in categorizing actions right or wrong (Koocher & Keith-Spiegel, 2016). Ethics influences individuals behaviours and hence ability to make right decisions, (Knouse  & Giacalone, 2017).

Question 2

             For a society to grow morally upright, ethical values such as honesty, discipline and integrity are crucial elements. My urge to become a professional educator is highly motivated through the learning of the significance of the ethical values in society.

Question 3

An article published in the United States explains on disagreement in the parameters used in grading the student’s performance (Sackett, Kuncel, Arneson, Cooper & Waters, 2016). In my opinion, examinations should not be seen as the real determinant of the student’s knowledge.  Another ethical violation act is indiscipline in a learning institution that leads to a negative impact on the student’s performance (Hanushek & W ößmann, 2015). In my opinion, zero tolerance and second chance should be used simultaneously in learning institutions.

Question 4

            An article in Thailand news update summarizes the assaults committed in the schools, (Shariff, 2018). A video of a small girl being bullied by a group of girls until she cries continues to be shared widely on the social media platform. Such unethical manners should be discouraged, and instead, the urge of being your sister’s keeper needs emphasis. Another unethical incidence mostly witnessed in an article that reported on the rapid increase in theft cases in learning institutions (Ruankaew, 2019). Students are stealing school uniforms and textbooks, especially in boarding institutions. Moral lessons need to be a part of school course work this will ensure ethical values among the students.

Question 5

According to Marta Gluchmanova journal article, the importance of ethic in the teaching profession is that teachers can remove the hurdles that they face every day in performing their teaching duties.

Question 6

Human dignity is a requirement that every teacher ought to possess. A teacher should be able to portray dignity and respect based on how he delivers his professional obligation and at the same time, teaches the students how to respect each other.

Question 7

I conclusion for every teacher to deliver the best in his teaching career, moral values act as the streamline. Excellent class performance needs to where the teacher and the student have a good and smooth relationship. Similarly, great achievements in life are guaranteed to morally upright students. Parents should take part in educating the students on the importance of good ethics.
