Application Marketing
Mobile applications are essential in today’s business technology. They are mostly used to enhance the customer experience. They are always a constant source of information, and they shape our daily lives. The new mobile app is an online platform for sharing and managing events created by departments of any organization. This app will allow users to view events easier. The service is hosted online, thus, enabling flawless job execution in the entire organization. This is because even if a department event creating personnel is absent, they can still attend to their tasks online (Faisal, 2016). The new app is also designed to minimize human errors. One of the errors sorted is restricting outdated events from appearing to the user interface on the app.
Communication about the app to potential customers will require the usage of links that are trusted and followed by many people. The goal for this will be to make the app viral and harness a positive attitude from their followers. For instance, we can utilize influencers and use publications and bloggers. The marketing of this mobile app will involve defining our target market, reaching and communicating to them so that we can acquire them to utilize the app and become loyal customers (Smith & Wiggins, 2016). The first and most important thing is to create awareness of the events app availability in the market. We will create brand awareness by researching to understand our target customers, then create a landing page for the app. We will host the application in Appstore and Play store, social media, and in paid ads and sending bulk SMS to the target market.
The marketing team will then collect feedback from the potential customers who have interacted with the mobile app. Customers are given a chance to draw their opinions. This will help to support decision making. After that, there is a need to display the result for ease understanding of suggested conclusions from prospective customers. To process data, we shall structure the data for entry as required for processing by an analysis tool (S, 2019). This involves the creation of a data model that uses columns and rows in a table for a workbook or statistical software. The next step is to clean the processed data as it may have errors like data redundancy. Data interpretation is made by checking if the results meet the intended purpose of the application and if the results help to defend any objections.
Suppose the customer’s feedback shows that there are more improvements required to make the app better! For example, the app has bundled advertisements, or maybe we were able to note that it was hard for a user to view events loading in real-time upon opening an app. This creates a gap of user satisfaction of the application usability. We will have to make some changes to that (Lee, 2018). As a solution, we discovered that integrating the Events App to Firebase platform would allow this to be implanted.
Further, there is a need for specializing End-users’ interfaces. There are those users who are only interested in views only, and the other user is the one that creates an event. This definition would allow distinguishing the graphical user interface for the two users. The functionality should be handled by an admin who can give rights to users that install this application to their handsets.
