What I learned from your post
One of the most important lessons I have learned from this case is the impact of microbeads to our environment and our future generation. The use of plastics has really increased, causing an accumulation of plastic waste in the ecosystem. Actually, these microbeads present harmful pollutants after being littered in aquatic habitats. This case gives a new understanding of microbeads being microplastics. Therefore, they are impossible to extract from the environment. Allowing microbeads to persist within waters is catastrophic for future generations. Additionally, microbeads absorb toxins then ingested by marine life, killing or harming the creatures. The solution to the environmental destruction caused by microbeads is to ban their use in personal care products to stop microbeads from polluting our environment.
Professional lessons
These case studies provide an insight into environmental conservation, which I can apply in my professional field. In the first case about angora rabbits, it disapproves of the mistreatment of rabbits. The microbeads case displays the negative effects microbeads have on the environment. The two cases example show that a thorough understanding of the effects on the natural ecosystem requires improved strategies to support environmental protection. These lessons can be applied when a company chooses not to manufacture products that can pose harm to the environment, such as microbeads. I would want to protect the environment at all costs in my professional space so that I can positively impact others and the world by reducing environmental destruction.
Personal lessons
It is possible to draw personal lessons from the case studies. Animal mistreatment and damage to marine life are some of the environmental issues discussed in both cases. The environment can, therefore, be protected by banning the manufacture of microbeads. I’ve learned that everyone has a moral duty to achieve even to the non-human world. The way in which a person cares for their environment reflects one’s personality. It is key, and we take care of the environment. Protecting the environment against pollution is a moral obligation of all human beings. I can apply these lessons by engaging in activities that are aimed at protecting the environment. This will make the world a better place, and I’ll be proud of myself.
