Debunking of how cardio helps in burning fat faster?

Cardio means the physical exercise that is used to burn fats and loses weight by indulging in physical activities and training, which increases the heart beating rate. These physical activities and exercises are also called aerobic exercises (Karimipour, 2020). When we hear the word cardio thing comes into mind is sweat dripping while exercising from your forehead. Cardiovascular exercise is also known as aerobic exercise, which also means aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise means you are involved in an oxygen exercise. There is a common perception that cardio helps weight loss because when people engage in cardiovascular activity, they experience sweating. People believe that cardio is essential to burning fat, but it is not right so far. Cardio does not help your weight loss as fast as you think or hear from people. Traditional views on cardio exercise state that strong long-run with an empty stomach helps lose weight. I would back this argument with research that LISS exercise is less useful to lose weight, and it affects proper muscle growth because of running with an empty stomach. Investigations are carried out to compare individuals involve in cardio exercise and those who do resistance training. Studies reveal that individuals performing cardio exercise lossless and slow weight than those who perform resistance training or HIIT exercise up to 9 times higher (ISSA, 2019).

There are pretty detailed and concise researches that will help you understand that cardio is not necessary nor useful to burn fat. To everyone who thinks cardio exercise is essential for weight loss, and there are rumours that those who do not involve in physical activity gain weight quickly. You people can lose weight by restricting or reducing calorie intake (avoid taking sugar, soda, oily products) and by involving in resistance practice. If you are doing both, it is well enough, and you will lose weight quickly. If you are taking high-calorie foods and doing physical exercise, there will be no improvement. The main factor in reducing weight is a reduction in calorie food. Quit taking calories that do not support your body type; you will see an ultimate and quick improvement in your body shape.

Some people do not accept resistance training as a weight-loss strategy. Resistance training makes you lean because it deals with strengthening your muscles. There are two types of resistance training, high volume and low volume, but the overall purpose of resistance training is to improve strength. Instead of cardio exercise, build your efforts to be involved in resistance training because it improves the endurance of your muscles and burns body weight (ISSA, Strenth Training Exercise, 2019).

Comparative to cardio exercise, resistance training and other exercise helps to motivate the initiation of more growth hormones and build a healthy body. Based on this researches, I would say that if your goal is to lose weight, then don’t go for cardio, choose resistance training or other exercises that suit your body type and do not forget to consult your consultants (ISSA, 2019). There are types of cardio exercises and intensity of these types that urge people to believe that it is an authentic source to reduce weight. But they need to read about the facts and consequences of cardio and turn their intentions and belief from this wrong type of exercise.

To prove my claim and support it with evidence, I have read interviews of people who wanted to lose their weight. To lose weight, they had chosen cardio that brings nothing but time waste and regret. They said cardio loses weight for some time, but when they stop exercising or take a short break, they gain weight again, and thus, this is no use. There is a difference in cardio and weight loss training, as prominent as there is a difference in doing work and not doing anything. Instead of putting you in tone and body shape, cardio sabotage your efforts and dishearten you for next time.

Here is another myth about cardio that misleads people about cardio. People think losing weight means losing as much pressure as you can. But the concept is misunderstood. Weight loss means to reduce excessive weight, and it needs planning to reduce excessive weight, instead of doing and doing the daily workout. You are on the wrong track if you think only cardio is the solution to your excessive weight. If you think cardio can help you losing weight, then look at the comment by Austin Johnson, a health specialist, “For my clients with weight-loss goals, I want them doing a combination of cardio and resistance training like weightlifting. They are both important to the reduction of body fat.” (Ryan, 2019) She said, if you want quick change or results maintain a balance between these two for four weeks, you will see results. Based on this statement, would you still say cardio helps you lost weight? Austin also talks about maintained heart rate because many people, while doing constant cardio, suffered their heart rate maintenance and face complications at the end. She also adds that always having the same exercise for a long time also seems untuneful, and the body becomes used to it. Thus there will be no response.

A study from 1993 states that exercising at a low rate or intensity brings more satisfactory results than doing exercise at a high rate – cardio. This study also reveals that doing yoga at a high rate affects the body’s ability to burn weight. And if you are doing regular cardio, your body will adapt this exercise and will bring nothing but time waste. Studies reveal that cardio disturbs the body’s hormone level that will tilt it towards gaining more weight instead of losing it. For example, changing the thyroid level, this is a hormone that is responsible for weight regulation. Thus changes in these hormones will make it harder for the body to reduce weight. Cardio also involves reducing leptin levels that enable humans to feel like they are satisfied. The decrease in leptin would cause more hunger, which means weight gain (Care, 2015). Thus this researches shows that cardio does not help your weight loss.
