Introduction

Real estate is considered to be the property, building, land, underground rights below the land and air rights which are above the land. The rise of real estate around the globe has created many opportunities for careers enabling most people to secure employment opportunities in different real estate fields. As more opportunities continue to rise in the field of real estate, I have developed an interest in developing my career as a home inspector in the field of real estate. This is because home inspection has got more opportunities, and one of my top priorities is to ensure that most of the people from Florida are able to live in standard homes (Mark, 2018). Therefore, the desire of this assignment is to focus on the specialization in the field of real estate, and my specialization of interest in the field of real estate is a home inspector.

Real estate home inspector has the responsibility of examining the real estate property to detect any defect or any problem that buyers, sellers, and agents may encounter. Inspection is one of the vital parts concerning the transaction in the industry of real estate. A home inspector is helping in pointing out some of the faults and blemishes that are not detected during the construction of the home. Most of the homes are facing challenges after the home has become complete and this may put the owner of the home to be at risk especially with defaults related to electricity connection (Porter & Ofori-Boadu, 2018)

To become a home inspector in Florida, it requires one to have gone through complete training of 120 hours that will enable the interested individual to acquired skills in key areas such as plumbing, wall structure, roofing, and electricity in order to meet the expectation of the customer. A home inspection career requires one to be licensed to practice the profession without any problem (Henin, 2018). It is vital to have trusted training in order to become a home inspector because the decision one makes after the house has been built is essential and does not require any fault.

In the olden days, real estate was a rare business, and only a few people were participating in the field of real estate. Currently, most of the States have been growing fast in terms of real estate, and this has motivated most of the business people to run into real estate, and thus, it has led to the emergence of different career opportunities, especially in Florida State (Mark, 2018). One of the main reasons why I want to develop my career as a real estate inspector is to ensure that homes that are built are in good condition because the homes are to be sold.

Most of the homes are built, and they look beautiful, but there are some of the hidden defaults which are very difficult to detect unless professionals are involved. In the United States especially in Florida, the government has been able to organize a comprehensive system that helps in inspecting homes through the use of the certified trained professionals in order to be able to mitigate some of the risks involved in purchasing the property which is having hidden defects that can lower the value of the property. After the inspection of the home, the inspector provides the customer with the valid report concerning his or her findings, and this helps the customer to be able to make a decision whether to buy the property or not (Porter & Ofori-Boadu, 2018)

It is my pleasure to ensure that in the future, when I develop my career, I want to ensure that customers are able to buy buildings that have been built properly without any problem that may cause the customer to regret later. One of the critical aspects I have learned is that most of the customers are buying homes in Florida with hidden defaults, and this makes them incur an extra cost to solve the problem. It is my desire that when I become a home inspector, my clients will be able to trust my profession by providing them with the correct defaults and advise them on what is likely to happen in case they make a decision to purchase the property (Henin, 2018).

My main focus to become a home inspector is to investigate the entire structure of the building because people have encountered severe problems after they have purchased a property, with some losing the whole building because of the hidden defaults that occurred during the construction. Some of the clients have experienced fire consuming their homes completely because of the poor connection of the electricity. I would wish to investigate how the roof of the building has been structured. I will also ensure that there is the proper installation of air conditioning, water heater, electricity plumbing, and the whole structure of the building. This will help to know the items which should be repaired and general maintenance and ensure that cases of fire break out are handled well. The inspection of the building will help to avoid the case of liability and any problem that might occur after the sale of the building (Mark, 2018).

Most of the customers buying homes have been able to encounter civic problems that include electricity defaults causing most of the house to be on the blaze. This has made most of the customers go lost because they need to incur extra costs to make the repairs, and sometimes some of the clients have lost building completely. This is one of the factors that has made me ensure that customers are buying well-built houses with a proper connection to electricity. There are also associated with roofing of the building; in most cases, some of the roofs are weak and can easily be blown by the wind, or some are having defaults because the iron sheets are not properly fixed and having perforations allowing water into the house especially when it is raining. This has made most of the customers face extra expenses to make the repairs; hence this has been one of my concerns because it is an essential house that is in proper condition (Porter & Ofori-Boadu, 2018).

The other civic problem that I have keenly watched happening to the customers is that some of the buildings are not built with proper materials causing the walls of the building to crack, which is dangerous to the lives of the people. In my service, it is my dream to ensure that houses are built with proper materials to avoid cases of walls cracking or any inappropriate material that may cause damages to the building hence making the buyer suffer later (Henin, 2018). I am planning to ensure have proper training and acquire the relevant skills essential to investigate buildings and make a comprehensive report to the customers in order to avoid default cases that are likely to make of the buyers of the properties to suffer. It will also be my pleasure to ensure that my clients are enjoying their stay after buying a home. My main focus is to ensure that real estate services providers are selling proper and durable properties to the customers in Florida because it is not easy to raise money and buy a building and later start encountering a problem that breach your peace when you are supposed to enjoy your home.

Conclusion

Real estate inspector is one of the vital careers in the field of real estate because it ensures that the customer is staying in a home that is free from problems that are brought about by negligence and defaults during the construction of the building. As a future real estate inspector, I would ensure that most of the clients are buying hoses with proper electricity connection in order to avoid cases of fire coming out as a result of the poor connection. I will also ensure that roofs, plumbing heat, an water heater are well installed in the house with the required materials, which are guanine and durable because that will help to avoid frequent repairs. It will also be my pleasure to ensure that customers are advised accordingly, and a comprehensive report provided to them in order to make a sober decision when they want to buy a building. It is vital for customers to be able to purchase houses that are in good condition so that they can enjoy their living and to avoid making repairs costing them extra cost (Porter & Ofori-Boadu, 2018).
