Search inventor: Alleza; Paul, he was issued on September 17, 1979, which expired on September 17, 1991. The article is the entitled conversion of mannose to fructose. Another report, which was not issued with a patent is entitled “method for measuring ion channel activity”. He applied on august 07, 2003. There is much reason for patent rejections, but there are two primary common reasons. One is if the patent were apparent. When one applied for a license, the patent officer goes through the claim and then, they search. This step is to check if the allegations are useful and non-obvious. Therefore, maybe the application by Paul was so obvious, and as per the law, he got rejected. The second reason might have been due to objections to the claims.
