Impact of Biblical Worldview

Leadership involves skills, knowledge and the capability to change things. It also includes visions and worldview- principles, beliefs and values. Worldview affects the way people live because the tenets are the motivation for various actions; benefits are the guiding tool, while the beliefs give direction. Christian world view may have an impact on leadership skills in the 21st century. First, the biblical view of leadership promotes character amongst people (Covey, 1992). For example, in Exodus chapter 18, the bible describes men with good character who was to be chosen for chieftainship. The nature of leaders might be impacted positively using the biblical world view.

The biblical worldview will help to create leaders with vision. Leaders can be motivated to present their vision with courage. The development of a functional vision can be retrieved from Jesus as an example and how he focused on his objectives and achieved the goals within three years, which was sensational. The bible presents information about being passionate about whatever we got to do. In the 21st century, leaders need to be excited about their work and position to be effective. The concepts of the bible might influence leaders to be committed to their work (Porter-O’Grady & Malloch, 2015). Coaching skills can also be retrieved from the biblical world view of leadership. There are various benefits of professional practices that occur via coaching. The bible provides understanding, solutions and insight for leaders as they train other people. The book of James describes the principles of the bible integrated with the coaching process. The characteristics described include perseverance, truth and faith. The coaching process, as explained by the text, may help leaders to ensure other people become better in their fields and work. Thus, the biblical worldview will help leaders to develop good quality in the management in the 21st century..
