Some books covered this issue, such as the liturgical Book of Common Prayer produced in the western Christendom, which showed their religiosity and social conditions after which came rites that recovered Christian history in the contemporary social terms. The power of this ritual has adversely been affected by the western rationalism and the protestant anti-sacra mentalism because baptism is both anthropological and liturgical, transforming the status of the people involved. It happens once in a lifetime, is social because it is inclusive of the community, place, and role of individuals. Don't use plagiarised sources.Get your custom essay just from $11/page
