Admission for Medical Program
Since my childhood, I have had a burning passion for becoming a medical practitioner. I loved helping the sick and could feel unhappy if I could get that patients lose their lives. The urge to save my lives is what made me gain interest in pursuing a medical profession, physician. I have worked as a volunteer medical practitioner in several hospitals. My working experience in such hospitals has exposed me to various challenges involved in the medical world. I have had a good relationship with prominent medical practitioners who offered me valuable information concerning the medical profession. Most of the medical practitioners liked the way I was grasping concepts. They could tell me that that I was super extraordinary in the manner I was grasping the concepts, and further was surprised to note that I never had any medical background. The doctor’s remarks rekindled my early dreams of nursing that I thought never came true.
Every time I could reflect the doctors’ remark concerning my skills, I could wonder if the career path I had chosen before was the right one and whether it would make me happy. This made me begin taking an online certificate course in medicine. With the hopes of having sufficient exploration of the medical field, I decided to join a pre-nursing society which gave me a good connection to many experienced professionals in the nursing field who offered me an opportunity of volunteering at a local hospital. This allowed me to interact with nurses and to learn a lot concerning roles that they perform in an ethical setting. The more experience I gained, the more I came to realize that nursing was my true destiny. This motivated me to pursue nursing as my major.
