A transformation in the political structure of America. History gives great swift account of the conflicts and motivations. America didn’t oppose to taxes until Parliament passed the Stamp Act, which  was the key event in the rise of American resistance.”The Revolution eventually bring an end to slavery in America. It ended the social and intellectual environment that allowed slavery. Republican society emerged. Trade in America  was regulated the most radical impact of the this Revolution was democracy (Bailyn, B.(2012).  Political revolution was a cultural revolution. There was equality in American society ,blacks and natives. This  increased the power of women and reformed the concept of “family”. A religious revolution was experienced. America began as insignificant British colonies and grew to be a democracy. The American Revolution truly changed America.

French revolution(1789-1799)

It had three stages. The first stage involved peaceful constitutional struggle; the second was one crisis and consolidation where the government used a lot of resources fighting remnants of the Old Regime; while the third phase entailed military rule under Napoleon. Poor national leadership represented lack of men to lead the country and wage war during crisis. Price and wage maximums were enforced unevenly, and acceptance of the inflated paper money, was made mandatory(De Tocqueville et al 2001). A  number of suspects were arrested; thousands were executed, and a revolutionary calendar, with 10-day weeks, was adopted. Abolishment of slavery in French colonies and the repeal of primogeniture shows  the need for more radical and democratic measures in order to formulate a nation with equality among its citizens. The revolution windswept the strength of conventional institutions that gave peoples uniting factor.. This revolution compared to the others was quite significant due to the terror that citizens went through and moreover the emphasis of radical alterations that were experienced. It was a success in France. In conclusion revolution in both America and France was successful as discussed above.
