American Education System

The current education system of Americans is geared towards producing quality education to the learners. Before joining higher education, one becomes required to have gone through Kindergarten all the way to grade 12. The current education system holistically views learners. It considers their self-esteem and captures the idea that not all the students are whites, as some might have come from other countries outside America. The current system also ensures that all learners are subjected to equal treatment regardless of race or social status. It is unlike previously when the education system from kindergarten to grade 12 did not consider the self-esteem of learners. A teacher could abuse us and treat others with some biased due factors such as their social status, the race, among others. The similarity between the current education system and the old system in America is that both involve a more programmatic approach of learning. Instructors allow learners to perform most tasks practically so it sticks well with them. Since most international studies prefer doing their higher studies in America, the education system has devised policies to employ staff from other countries as well, and learners are not restricted to practice some of their home cultures. America should direct more funds towards improving the quality of education more specifically to the research institutions to better their quality of education.

Before current America’s regime of government, there was equal opportunity in the American education system for all students; however, as at now, the pattern has changed because the current system has designed more policies and regulations that hinder learners from outside America to further studies. A lot of documents are required for one to enter the country, and most of the scholarships used to become provided have reduced drastically by the current regime (Schneider, 2006). Therefore I tend to believe that there is no equal opportunity in the contemporary U.S education System. The ongoing free primary education is gaining success in line with efforts and abilities since the learners become natured in the areas they are best at. The instructor closely monitors the learners to identify their skills and nature them appropriately, and this has proven successful over time.
