Apple is one of the companies that have shown a great trend in release of new products in the market. Its efficient management under the CEO of the company Tim Cook, has placed this company in the industry’s front line. Moreover, the company’s effective management has built a good profile above all other firms. This in turn has helped in the marketing of existing and its newest products in the market. One of the greatest shocks to the Apple’s competitors is latest launch of its iPhone 7 into the market. This is a product that has been greatly modified from the previous iPhone 6 and other versions that Apple has ever invented. IPhone 7’s 3G is currently trading at a price of $769 in the market as the company progresses on the further modification of another new version after iPhone 7 probably (Whitney, 2016).

Contribution to the depth of product line.

Indeed, the release of iPhone 7 is increasingly contributing to the breadth of the product line. This is actually evident through consideration of the series of the previous related products. For instance, before Apple launched iPhone 7 on September this year, it had remained competitive in the market with its iPhone 6 and 6s mobiles. I chose Apple’s iPhone 7 as a new product in the market because it is one of the new products that have high level of technological advancement, most specifically through the trend of manufacture of its products, that is, through standardization and on a short time interval.

IPhone 7 is a good name of the new mobile product from Apple Company. Perhaps, the name suits the new product up to the best. The argument behind this truth is that, most of the products launched before iPhone 7 almost bare the name iPhone (Whitney, 2016). For instance, the phones that came before iPhone 7 include, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. The company has greatly used packaging and labelling of this product. This has encouraged potential buyers to purchase the product. Secondly, packaging and labeling has helped to transmit necessary information about iPhone 7. For instance, information about the use of the product. Lastly and the most significant, packaging helps to capture the attention of shoppers.

Compatibility with customers’ preferences

IPhone 7 is highly diffusing in the market. Apart from USA, the mobile has been introduced in other counties such as UK, Canada and Australia (Zhu et al, 2012). One of the factors influencing characteristics of innovation of iPhone 7 is its compatibility to users’ specifications. Among all, the mobile has a 12mp camera, a backside headphone, 54mm telephoto and specs which have greatly been modified from that of iPhone 6plus. All these features are compatible to the users’ preferences and they increase the market of the product.
