Theory to make my goal more achievable

The goal-setting theory would be ideal to ensure that I achieve my objectives, and it includes five critical elements for successful goal achievement.

Achieving my goals requires Commitment. Commitment pertains to the extent to which a person is affixed to the goal and their motivation to attain it – even when confronted by hurdles. I have to ensure that I am committed. Goal success is best when people are focused, and more so when those goals are demanding.

Secondly, I have to ensure I have clear goals in order to achieve them. Specific targets put you on a clear track. When a goal is ambiguous, it has a minimal motivational impact. Therefore I need to set. Set clear, realistic, and unambiguous objectives that are explicit and observable.

Goals must be challenging in order to achieve them.  Being a hospital administrator is a challenging course. When I set a goal that is challenging and believe that I can accomplish it, I am more likely to be motivated and achieve my ambitions.

Task Complexity. Being a hospital administrator entails complex tasks; however, the timeline should be reasonable for such goals. Allowing enough time to work towards a goal provides for opportunities to reevaluate the importance of the goal and to achieve it.

Feedback- Goal setting requires immediate feedback. Feedback helps to assess the level to which a target is being achieved and how you are advancing. I believe by sharing my personal goals with the people I trust, and I can get positive or negative feedback, which would allow me to achieve my goals.

Plan to achieve the goal

I would start by defining several variables, for instance, a specific time-frame and a specific measurement that will allow me to identify when the goal of becoming a hospital administrator will be achieved.

I would likewise establish a list of challenges that may hinder me from achieving my objectives. I would ask myself several questions for instance

How challenging will it be?

I would then identify circumstances, identify past failures as well as identify resources such as include knowledge, tools, skills, books, people I know, and information to achieve my goal.

I would likewise acknowledge relevance as well as acknowledge your obstacles and ask questions such as

How could these obstacles limit my actions?

In order to achieve my objective, I would, therefore, need to sum up my plan by identifying specific actions that will push me towards my objectives.

Identify obstacles that may affect my goal as I work on my specific actions

Identify and set Time-frames to achieve my objectives and goals

Identify Priorities as well as the level of motivation that may awaken my psychological blocks, preventing me from becoming a hospital administrator.
