Being in the cloud computing class
Being in the cloud computing class is one of the crucial achievements I have made in my life. Cloud computing as a course equips one with knowledge and various skills necessary in the world of computing. Thus, an individual’s form cloud computing class is much different from those who have not attended. Cloud computing is concerned with provisions of computing resources necessary for communication between computers. Some of the services provided by cloud computing include storage, networking, servers, among other services. Each of the services is important in cloud computing due to their benefits; for instance, greater accessibility and cost optimization are benefits accrued from storage services. Therefore, cloud computing course is essential in equipping learners with skills that are applicable in real-world situations like workplaces.
Among the skills employed in my workplace are storage skills. The skills help the company store its information online, and thus it improves data reliability in the company. Through cloud computing course, one acquires knowledge on how and where to store data within the cloud. Therefore; the knowledge on how to store data is applied in my workplace to ensure proper storage of data. Storing data online has been useful in my workplace since it has improved data accessibility through multiple resources. Also, knowledge in online storage of data has helped the company develop a reliable protection to its information and even in disaster recovery.
Virtualization is another skill learned from the course and is widely used in my workplace. The company employs cloud virtualization to share its data through a software application. Thus, there is an improved sharing of data by incorporating various virtual machines. Through virtualization, the company I work has been able to eliminate hardware assets and resulted in efficiency in computing process. By applying virtualization in a company’s computing processes, there have been scalable resources to the organization.
The place I work also applies cloud security knowledge to protect is data. Through the use of cloud security, the company has ensured protection to all its infrastructures and applications they use in cloud computing. Also,in the organization cloud security skill is used in implementing a disaster recovery plan to improve data protection in the organization. Besides that, the organization I work uses cloud security skill to assess the safety of data systems and tracking the company’s security state. Last, the organization I work also uses networking skill to ensure effective clouding. Networking provides the effective sharing of data through various clouds. Through cloud networking, the company has improved its network management functions, thus ensuring reliability in internet access.
Therefore, pursuing a cloud computing course has been very important in improving cloud computing. The course equips learners with knowledge and skills necessary in real job working situations. Various capabilities such as storage, virtualization, cloud security and cloud network have been used in my workplace, thus resulting in efficiency in cloud computing.
