Bible Scripture
Introduction
The bible has talked a lot concerning the leadership of the people he appoints. The leaders are supposed to possess some fundamental values that will be vital in ensuring that that they become effective in their work. Leadership is critical not from a Christian perspective, but a loss in the secular world and the follower have some expectations in regards regarding the behavior, traits, and attributes of the leader. This topic is significantly vital in an era when there is happening in the world, such as climate change and conflict in various parts of the world. in the Christian perspective, a lot is happening such as misleading if the followers by some Christian leaders and conflict among the followers. Therefore, leadership becomes a critical factor to consider for the progress of society and the community at large. There are so many passages that have discussed the traits of effective leaders, or leaders are supposed to behave in leadership people. Therefore, this essay will answer the question, what does Christian scripture say about leadership.
In 1 Corinthians 9: 20-27. In this passage, Paul gives his example of leadership styles. In verse 22, he says that to the week he became weak so that he can win them. He says that to the gentiles, he became like a gentile so that he could win the gentiles outside the Jewish law. He says that he becomes all things so that he could win many to the kingdom of God. he says that he does all these things so that he could be a part of the benefits of the gospel. Ministry is challenging, and form this scripture, leaders need to be able to fit every situation. Paul was able to adjust himself so that he could be able to meet the characteristics of the people he was reaching out to. This is very important since people have different cultures, their way of life, and their cultural beliefs. This means that every leader should be able to get strategies that will help to lead these people effectively. Furthermore, another attribute from this passage is that leaders are to humble themselves and get to the level of the followers for them to be effective leaders. Mathew 21:12-16. In this passage, Jesus went to the temple and found people who were selling in the temple. He became infuriated and drove them out of the temple. He overturned the tables, and the money changers the benches of those shows were selling in the temple. This gives me some insight concerning the way people should lead. My perspective about leadership in this verse is that people should stand and see things getting wrong without acting to change the situation. Some so many leaders do not rise to the occasion to what is necessary, and when they do, they are not effective, and they leave not finished. Jesus drove the sellers formed the temples, and started to heal people. He restored order a guarded the respected and the adoration of the house of God. Jesus did not care how the people who say of him he was focused on doing that which was right. I think that that the contemporary leaders need to be more courageous to stand up for good even when it is not appealing to the people. With this understanding, leaders will be more careful in the way they handle their issues and which is god even when it is attractive to the followers. Leaders should not offer fake promises. Most of the leaders do consider the interest of others but only focus on the gains they will get at the end of each course.
Acts 2:1-45 tackles about the leadership of peters 9n the church after Jesus ascended to heaven. The disciples were waiting in the upper room to receive the gift that had been promised of the holy spirit. In that upper room, the disciples received the holy spirit, who would enable them to carry out the ministry. The people around the town were concerned they could hear the disciples speaking their language. Peter rose up and clarified to them that the disciples were not drunk, but they had received the promised gift of the holy spirit. The form then henceforth, peter assumed the eldership of the church. He stood up and started to preach to the people who had gathered, and many of them gave their lives to the Lord and were baptized. Peter also taught them to live as Christians, and most of those people dedicated their lives o the ministry. This has shaped many perspectives about leadership in that a leader should always stand up to clarify issues when there seems to be no one in charge. It is vital to make people understand what is happening and giving people a solution. The people asked Peter what they were to do to receive the holy spirit, and he expertly guided them in the way to receive the gift of the holy spirit. He was armed with the truth about the procedure that they would follow. With this understanding, it will be pivotal for leaders to have the necessary information in their domain so that they will furnish the people with the truth as they lead them.
Conclusion
Leadership is about giving way forwards so that something can be achieved. Leaders are supposed to understand the circumstances that surround their situations and determine the way forward to solve the issue. Leaders are supposed to stand up for the truth regardless of what other people will stay. They are angry for disorderliness, which will propel them to restore order. Leaders should ways stand up in case there seem to be a leader’s hip vacuum so that they can guide the people accordingly. Leaders should have a clear vision about where they are going and the issues that they want to achieve along the way. They should be genuine such that when they are alone, they will hold themselves accountable for their actions; leaders can get these virtues from the teaching in the bibles the norms that are acceptable in the society.
