The forty-hour week helps the business operations in minimizing the cost of services. The employee’s pad, based on their productive working hours, will significantly reduce (Bird, 2016). This has the effect of reducing the cost of operations and a resultant increase in the net profit of the organizations. The management should, therefore, embrace the new trend in carrying out the business operations to m9nimize the cost involved in the production process.

They are increasing employee satisfaction. The reduction of working days has a consequent psychological increase in labor satisfaction (Lambert, 2019). It is argued that the employees can take care of other private commitments alongside their employment. The employee’s loyalty is expected to increase exponentially. The labor in business opportunities should be manipulated in a way that their productivity is always maintained at the peak.

` The forty-hour week emerging trend eases the follow-up activities of the business operations. The management can keep an eye on all the employees’ activities (Lambert, 2019). Through the trend, each employee is required to maximize their productivity, and idle labor can be easily eliminated. This helps the organization to ensure efficient management f its resources towards achieving the main goals of the organization.

The forty-hour work a week provides the employees with enough windows to increase their pay. The employees can use the other days of the week to work for the extra time that is likely to earn them more money (Lambert, 2019). It is, therefore, essential to provide a better working environment that will encourage the employees to maximize their time in the organization and thus improving their attitude and productivity in the business organization.

As seen in the above paragraphs, the forty-hour week work schedule has a significant impact on the management of business operations. The emerging trend affects improving the productivity of labor in various sectors. It as well reduces the cost of work and the specialization that is encouraged to help in enhancing the productivity of the business. The dynamics in industry seeks for the changes in the working hours since technology provides an excellent service in improving if the business operation. It is, therefore, essential to consider the changes in a working environment with abundance in caution to avoid the unnecessary consequences that may arise due to the negligence of some employees in the business operations.
