analysis the artists who died at the age of 27 Americans have used songs and music to exercise their rights and freedom of speech as provided for in the constitution. Through music, they have been able to draw attention to critical areas in society and called out on authority for any policies they deem as derogative and in violation of individual rights and privileges. Additionally, Americans have also demonstrated their unwavering nationalism and support of the government and its policies through music. As such, music is instrumental as an avenue of mass mobilization, and the messages conveyed in songs, have within them the ability to provoke feelings and emotions in support or to criticize social, political and economic policies. Music creates a deep sense of power and superiority to both the artists and the listeners who then act upon such forces through the messages relayed in the songs. Musicians can mobilize their listeners in whatever ways they or those around them deem fit. Whereas some of the messages are positive and well informed, a good number of songs have misleading…

Women’s Rights Movement of the 1960s and 1970s Introduction The women’s rights movement was geared up by several feminists in the united states of America.  The key drivers of this movement sought to bring about changes in law-making processes, eradicate women discrimination and, hence, provide women with chances of equal opportunities in all the aspects of life. Besides, evidence from the availed primary literature pieces shows that these movements demanded equality in education, governance, representation, and employment. For instance, according to Rosen 2015), it is evidential that women live frustrated lives in society. Surprisingly, the Journal cites that most of upscale bars and restaurants in America never served women unless in the instances where men escorted them.  In a similar context, Rosen (2015) reveals that many colleges in America could not allow women to graduate in such programs as medicine, economics, engineering, and other affiliated sciences. Therefore, with this background information regarding the subject matter, this paper has been set to provide detailed analysis regarding support for and opposition of the women’s rights movement of the 1960s and 1970s while…

anthropology course The way that anthropology course is taught is through directive learning, reading, and seminars. Therefore, I do not have to study through passive lecture experience. I also have access to the reading guidance, form my own opinions and talk about my views, which is probably what I did not expect while pursuing an anthropology course. Through reading about different cultures, anthropology gives an alternative outlook to ways of life. The course has enabled me to study anthropology in a broad, creative, and comprehensive format. The academic culture of studying anthropology is different in the sense that it involves a lot of freedom, time and independence. Moreover, there is no exact path that needs to be followed in the study. Therefore, I can learn things that are appealing to me. Through this, it has helped with my time management, especially during ethnographic research. Ethnographical research requires one to spend a lot of time in the field learning and understanding the sociocultural world. For this to be achieved, they must take part in local activities and learn the native language.…

The Performance of “Don Giovanni” in Old Globe Theatre, San Diego California My year was complete when I watched the Opera House performing “Don Giovanni” in Old Globe Theatre in San Diego California, a theatre that was full to capacity despite the alleged complains of expensive tickets. The stage was well lit with orchestral colors that aroused varied feelings in the actions as well as the introductions. The three-dimensional stage aroused a sharp sensation in the spine and made me wish I was one of the actors using the spectacular stage. The blue and white dressing code with the majority of the audience fairly rhymed with the stage colors that kept changing with the scenes producing a magnificent theme. The Performance and Performers The performers were dressed in costumes that fitted their roles, and their actions went ahead to show realism in the contemporary world. I was in a special way amused by the music used in the opera. It was perfectly chosen for the seducing, comic and sad moments, and no one could have escaped dancing the tunes with…

Being an active member of the Theatre Department Being an active member of the Theatre Department, I had little idea of what to expect from the performance. The actors and directions of the play are not as what you would expect from a traditional show. Besides, the play scripted by Fiona Quinn has been interpreted in different ways, which gave the director great liberty. While the performance was delightfully put together, there were some moments in the play that went unsolved. The performance was experimental, and despite the script signifying sad moments for the orphans, the actors made it sensation introducing humor scenes cracking up the audience. The actress used a playful tone and a high pitched voice to attract and make the presentation sprightlier. While the play was set to begin, the audience got to gaze on the unique design of the stage. The floor was wooden with walls side portraying an image of reminiscent of a ship. Light projections were occasionally used throughout the play to assist with visual aids.

ANCIENT EGYPT A nation in the north of Africa, Ancient Egypt was a country that was located at the source of the Nile River. It is said to be dated back for more than 30 centuries before Christ, and it boasted as the first nation to be civilized and the birthplace of algebra. Since the conception of The Great Pyramids, which are considered one of the eight wonders of the world, to the new military championship the country currently holds, Egypt has been a field of study for many scientists and archaeologists, a historical and recreational site, a religious symbol and a nation of magnificent wonders. This made the birth of the study of Egyptology that they say is the study of the empire. This is because of the numerous centers of information about it engraved in numerous and humongous monuments, objects, and artifacts that archaeologists recover from the sites, including the discovery of hieroglyphs (Shillington, 1995). The works of the Great Belzoni, a renowned Italian explorer, and also the first human to study Ancient Egypt’s antiquities are considered to…

Data presentation- An outline of the selected visual tool Selected visual The selected visual is a Bar chart, which is referred to as a histogram or column chart (Kirk, 2016). This visual tool uses bars in order to compare data of differing categories. It can either run horizontally or vertically based on the requirements.
