This fundamental aspect helps HR managers make sound decisions on talent acquisition, compensation, and retention. The technique assumes that job KSAs is capable of differentiating the tasks and that supervisors and job incumbents can make valid and reliable assessments of the KSAs required to perform the job effectively. Free Trade The issue of free trade is one of the most controversial in the modern world.  It is one of the most long-standing controversies in the world since the tide of globalization started to take root. There have been many proponents and opponents on the issue, with many people taking sides on the subject. However, this trade does not only happen between the continents, but it also occurs between neighboring nations. The argument about free trade can take many dimensions, including economic, moral, and socio-political arguments. Besides, a business makes many sizes, and the proponents and opponents of the idea take stands on the issue depending on their beliefs. Trade restriction is a commercial policy that allows unrestricted exports or imports in a country: the concept of the free market is applicable primarily in international commerce (Tsumi, 2017). In government, the trade is preponderantly promoted by political parties that support liberal or right-wing economic positions. Endangered Animals Annotated Bibliography Allan, J., Watson, J., Di Marco, M., O’Bryan, C., Possingham, H., Atkinson, S., & Venter, (2019). Hotspots of human impact on threatened terrestrial vertebrates. PLOS Biology, 17(3), e3000158. https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pbio.3000158 Allan et al. argue the best way of conserving the endangered species is through the identification of places where they are mostly found and initiating strategies towards the protection objective. The scholars achieve this research by presenting a global analysis of the cumulated impact of human activities on the threatened species; particularly, population density, pasture lands, croplands, and electric infrastructures. In all the assessed species, the research established that almost one-quarter of the species are impacted, and at least seven percent of them face threats from human activities in their entire lifetime. The information presented in this journal is of average quality, given that it directly illustrates the extent to which endangered species are distributed worldwide and areas where they are most susceptible. However, one shortcoming of this article is its inability to rely on primary data and instead chooses to provide a narrative that does not…

The death of nine male career firefighters in their line of duty The death of nine male career firefighters in their line of duty at a commercial furniture showroom was an unfortunate occurrence, which happened due to some dysfunctions. It could be avoided if several factors were improved. The crucial tactical factors that contributed to the death of these nine firefighters were radio communication problems experienced during the firefighting, lack of a central dispatch center for communication of rescue activities involving departments from multiple administrations, inadequate water supply, lack of safety ropes and other exit locators to guide the disoriented firefighters out of the building, and exhaustion of air supply which led to the firefighters running out of air. Radio communication problems were encountered in the incident whereby some mutual help departments lost communication with the municipal dispatch center with their radios. The mutual aid crew was sent to rescue the missing firefighters. Thus, efficient communication was necessary for them to get help if the conditions inside the building needed more personnel. If the fire chief were receiving responses from…

Activity 4: Professional Values and Goals Reflection of a Nursing Career My nursing philosophy directly stems from my desire to help people, especially during their desperate times. When I serve people that need help, I get internal satisfaction. Nursing is not a job, but a unique profession that requires one to have passion, patience, and selflessness.
