How Learning Happens in Asynchronous Environment Asynchronous online learning is made effective by the availability of blackboards, where peer exchange ideas amongst themselves. The presence of online learning blackboards creates the inter-relationship leading to constant improvement in the experience of the learners. In this learning method, the instructor posts a question where each student is required to post an answer as the peers post a reply to the answer (Ilene et al., 2015). Many responses from each student improve the experience of all the participants of the discussion. The asynchronous study has a positive correlation to the learners since it comes at the ideal time of learning of the student. Peer learning through the online blackboard makes peer interaction ideal for learners. Generally, Asynchronous environment learning becomes possible by the aid of a blackboard where students discuss with the assistance of the instructor. Literature and Asynchronous environment learning Literature reckons asynchronous environment learning to be active learning for long-distance learners. Various studies regarding this method of learning support that time and ideal online environments have a positive correlation to students…
report on a current issue that affects children’s learning and development in Australian primary schools today Research and report on a current issue that affects children’s learning and development in Australian primary schools today (USE THIS ONE: bullying). You should use relevant research literature to discuss the context and impact of current inclusive education policies, and how you will deal with this issue in your teaching practice. You should use relevant research literature to discuss the context and impact of the current issue; refer to inclusive education policies to support how educators could deal with this issue—recommendations. To support the contemporary construct of the competent and capable child, you should frame your report around child development theories and/or models (for example, Bronfenbrenner’s ecological theory). Choose two to three theories as the base and theoretical lens/theoretical approach in which to discuss the issue and your findings.[unique_solution] Ensure your report contains the following components: Executive summary: a short, sharp summary of the whole report. Table of contents. Introduction: Introduce issue and theories framing your report. Rationale explaining the relevance of teachers having…
Learning Preferences Learning preferences require an individual to choose conditions regarding learning, which will help in retaining information. The common conditions to put into consideration are social, physical, emotional, environmental, and emotional attributes (Khazan 4). Depending on the type of material a person is learning, different people prefer to learn in different places and at varying times. An individual has to discover the best circumstances in which they can learn. When it comes to learning styles, different people choose varying methods to introduce a new way. An individual may wish to read a book or listen to an audio to gain new information (May 11). It is crucial for an individual to know their learning styles and preferences to benefit from the life of learning. Understanding learning selves will improve the ability to acquire more knowledge. It is through learning preferences that an individual is actively involved in a learning process since it enhances motivation and self-esteem. My score for all dimensions ranged from nine to eleven. This is an indication that I have a strong preference for active, sensing,…
Learning Outcome By the end of this unit a student will be able to: 1 Explain the different types, size and scope of organisations. 2 Demonstrate the interrelationship of the various functions within an organisation and how they link to organisational structure. 3 Use contemporary examples to demonstrate both the positive and negative influence/impact the macro environment has on business operations. 4 Determine the internal strengths and weaknesses of specific businesses and explain their interrelationship with external macro factors. 1.3 Essential Content LO1 Explain the different types, size and scope of organisations Different types of organisations: Differences between for profit and not for profit and non-government organisations (NGOs). Micro, small, medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Different business purposes, objectives and supply of goods and services. The range of legal structures associated with different forms of business: sole traders, partnerships and private limited companies. Global growth and developments of transnational, international and global organisations. Differences between franchising, joint ventures and…
Analysis of Game Connect four Learning Outcomes In Connect Four game different mathematical techniques are used to solve the game; these techniques entail the use of graph theory which is the research on graphs which are models that are applied in establishing relations with objects. For a graph to be complete it must have various features such as edges, arcs, vertices and arcs. There are two main types of graphs that is the undirected which is a graph which does not distinguish between the two vertices that are related to the edges or a directed graph whereby the edge are direct from one vertex to the other (Allis, 2006) Graphs are very important in discrete mathematics because they help in determining the moves which one has to make and the path which one has to follow so that he may become a winner or have a draw. The other technique is brute algorithm which is also known as exhaustive search and it solves problem by enumerating the participants of the solution and ensuring that each participant meets the problem statement.…
My ability and skills of learning How I learn Learning refers to the acquisition of knowledge, skills and experience which are obtained by being either taught or even through studying. My learning styles and techniques at collage level makes it easy for me to pursue my course. First and most importantly is my emphasis on the critical skills of learning. Before I take any step to acquiring new knowledge through studying, I first revise the four Cs of learning skills. Perhaps, they guide me in quick capturing of the content. These learning skills include; critical thinking, creative thinking, communicating and collaborating. Basically, through critical thinking, I usually analyze the content material in order to understand it better. In addition, I usually note down words that are vocabularies to me and confirm the meaning from the dictionary after every sentence. This greatly helps in move hand in hand with the content am handling. Secondly, I employ my creative abilities in the process of learning. Here, I try to forecast the possible destination of the writer. In other words, I like the…
Learning journal (weekly reflection) My Jungian typology is extraversion, intuition, feeling and judgment, ENFJ. Basically, these four personalities impact positively in both my social and academic life. First, my extraversion character builds me in diverging my personal interests to other issues especially academically and with fellow course mates. In my self-assessment test, I found that introversion contributes to my self enhancement and self-verification. It makes me productive on the side of mentoring other students majorly on issues that concern them less or that do not fall under their course outlines. The next personalities in my self-assessment are feeling and judgement. Feeling purposely contributes to my emotional state. In my self-assessment, I found that one of the reasons as to why most of friends, students and relatives need to stay close to me is because of kindness brought about by affection. I’m always so emotional to an extent of improving my act of giving. Surprisingly, I realized that I cannot prosper in my studies without proper judgement. This is a unique personality that helps me differentiate the right and wrong when…
Defining the Learning Environment Write a five to six (5-6) page paper in which you: Provide an overview of the organization for which you are to develop the training. The overview should include, at a minimum, the organization’s mission, vision, management structure, corporate culture, geographic location(s), community involvement, and experience in providing training and development activities. Specify the task(s) for which the training is being developed. Analyze the most significant elements or steps for performing each task and examine the importance the task(s) to the organization’s overall mission. Describe at least five (5) characteristics of the intended audience for the training. For example, describe the number of potential learners, type of learners, reading levels, gender, ages, culture, language(s) they use, and attitude toward learning. [unique_solution]Evaluate the intended audience’s level of familiarity with technology overall. Assess the degree to which the members of your intended audience are self-directed in their learning overall. Suggest the manner in which their self-directedness—or lack thereof—may affect the likelihood that they would successfully compete the training. Select the theoretical basis for the planned training (i.e., andragogy…
Applying the Principles of Learning to Problem Solving Student’s Name Affiliated Institution The principles of learning provide insights into how people can learn effectively. However, it is easy to apply the principles of learning in solving problems that affect society. Before learning principles are applied in problem-solving, it is crucial for people to on how they can use them (Chance, 2014). This will make it easy for them to know how they can analyze social problems and get solutions for them in an effective manner. The rampant social problem in my community is drug abuse. A considerable number of people, especially youths, have developed the lousy Behavior of abusing drugs such as alcohol and tobacco in large quantities. Others have gone to the extent of abusing illegal drugs such as bhang and cocaine, and this has contributed to the ever-increasing cases of crime in society. According to Chance, (2014), learning is a biological process and thus a need to educate the members of the society on how to stop drug abuse. The principle that I will apply to teach the…
Recreational Fun Rejuvenates the Learning Mind The world is changing. A lot of students are forced to dedicate most of their time to academics. Parents are advising their children to stay focused on their studies. And even in most schools, the main objective that almost every stakeholder advocate for is focused on studies. However, no one seems to comprehend the importance of recreational activities in studies. The research revealed that recreational fun could revitalize the brains of learners. Thus, it recommended that students need to be given enough time to have recreational activities of their choice to leverage the boosting of their learning power. What is recreation? Recreation is the participation in activities that are carried out in leisure and are chosen voluntarily. People engage in such activities for fun, creative enrichment, or simply satisfaction. In most cases, students are allowed to take part in recreational activities of their choice. Some schools have various games for anyone willing and still organize camping activities for students to enjoy certain sports outside their school. These activities benefit students physically and emotionally. They…
