The evolution of language in cinema In modern film production, there are two broad classifications of a director; those who put their faith in the film and those who put their trust in reality. The development of a film has two distinct stages. The production of the image and projection of the montage. The combination of the two serves to increase the production quality and influence the direction a motion picture will adopt. This analysis will prove that the use of realism in the presentation of the film will not only add to the reality being presented, but it will improve the revelation of that reality. The use of realism will shape the world view of films among spectators. There are three main types of montages, namely parallel, accelerated, and attraction. In parallel, there are two factions within the same space, and alternations are done through the use of altering shots. In accelerate, illusions are generated by increasing speed and the use of multiple shots. In the montage of attraction, different images that are not from the same episode are…
RESPONSIBILITY AND GLOBAL JUSTICE: A SOCIAL CONNECTION MODEL* By Iris Marion Young I. Introduction In this essay, I clarify the status of claims about global justice and injustice that are increasingly voiced and accepted in our world. Such claims present a problem for political philosophy because until recently most philosophical approaches to justice assumed that obligations of justice hold only between those living under a common constitution within a single political community. I will argue that obligations of justice arise between persons by virtue of the social processes that connect them; politicalinstitutionsaretheresponsetotheseobligationsratherthantheir basis. I develop an account of some of these social processes as structural processes, and I argue that some harms come to people as a result of structural social injustice. Claims that obligations of justice extend globally for some issues, then, are grounded in the fact that some structural social processes connect people across the world without regard to political boundaries. The second and more central project of this essay is to theorize about the responsibilities moral agents may be said to have in relation to such global…
Al Franken story The Al Franken story, as revealed in this article, was not initially well investigated and researched. Leeann Tweeden brings forward allegations that paint a negative image of Al Franken, sexual harassment, while the case she presents happens to have many shortcomings. For example, the skit she claims had been written specifically for her in 2006, had been performed before by different actresses in the same way (NPR, 2019). Better investigation and research into the allegations would have revealed these gaping holes in the story. Sexual harassment is a sensitive issue, but in cases of accusations such as this, sides mustn’t be taken without factual evidence. Information sources must be verified and tested for credibility before being adopted as conclusive – this is considering the vast information landscape and with a broad collection of information sources. Technology played an important role. It is especially critical in presenting supporting evidence for the case. For instance, audio recordings from the past help reveal various facts about the situation. Also, there is the use of a photograph that is a critical…
Young students lack creativity and research skills … Review of causes and effects The research phase is never over. After each research, new research emerges. And this is not a bad act. The human being, using his mental abilities, continues to play his role in the field of research according to the needs of his time and continues to illuminate the world with new research. According to historical texts, the research field was in the hands of Muslims a few hundred years ago. For many centuries, there has been the intellectual rise of Muslims. Muslims have made significant discoveries and inventions in many fields, including science. But the tragedy of the postwar period is that no further progress has been made in these discoveries, nor are they now being done, which has led to the rise of the Muslim world. Due to non-interest in the field of education and research, Muslims are wearing the shackles of foreign slavery. Spirit of Education Unfortunately, in the fields in which Muslims used to have an identity, they have lost their identity today. Historical…

Annotated Bibliography on Approaches to Teaching the Plays of August Shannon, Sandra G., and Sandra L. Richards, eds. “Approaches to Teaching the Plays of August Wilson.” Modern Language Association, 2016. The play, Fences was written by August Wilson. The article by Shannon and Sandra evaluates the theme of love and relationship, as revealed in the play. The author explains how the heated dialogue between Troy and Rose at the front porch of a shabby shack builds the theme of love and relationship. In Act One, scene four, Troy and Bono relate their childhood life stories. The painful memories enhance the understanding of the challenges African-Americans undergo. Troy reveals that his father did not stay with one woman for long. As a result, Troy grew up without motherly love. When Troy was fourteen years old, his father noticed the girl Troy and affection on. Troy’s father raped the girl, which terrified Troy. Troy says, “sometimes I wish I had not known my daddy.” (Shannon & Sandra, 5). The scene showed complex relationships that existed between father and son in the…
Learning and Teaching angles of Geometry Introduction To effectively teach mathematics, mastery of the subject matter, understanding of the reasoning of students and mathematical concepts is required, and knowledge of the different strategies of instruction(Ball &McDiarmid,1990; Fauskanger,2015; Harrington,1999). The conceptual approach rather than an instrumental approach should be used by teachers in answering students’ questions(Borko & Putman,1996; Tchoshanov,2011). The conceptual approach focuses on “understanding the meaning of mathematical representation, explaining the reason why certain algorithms and procedures work in particular situations and establishing the connections between mathematical concepts instead of only facts and procedures.” However, the master of subject matter is not sufficient for one to be an effective teacher (Shulman,1996). Teachers need to have a clear understanding of what they know and how they teach(David & Simmt,2006; Mason &Davis,2013). In-depth knowledge of the topics students have difficulty grasping is required and the strategies needed to mitigate these challenges because a teacher’s knowledge affects student’s conception(Tirosh,200). One of the key components of the mathematics curriculum is Geometry(Common Core State Standards[CCSSI],2010;Ministry of National Education[MoNE],2013;National council of Mathematics[NCTM],2000).This is because ” geometry…

How public education cripples our kids, and why I taught for thirty years in some of the worst schools in Manhattan, and in some of the best, and during that time I became an expert in boredom. Boredom was everywhere in my world, and if you asked the kids, as I often did, why they felt so bored, they always gave the same answers: They said the work was stupid, that it made no sense, that they already knew it. They said they wanted to be doing something real, not just sitting around. They said teachers didn’t seem to know much about their subjects and clearly weren’t interested in learning more. And the kids were right: their teachers were every bit as bored as they were. Boredom is the common condition of schoolteachers, and anyone who has spent time in a teachers’ lounge can vouch for the low energy, the whining, the dispirited attitudes, to be found there. When asked why they feel bored, the teachers tend to blame the kids, as you might expect. Who wouldn’t get bored teaching students who are rude and…
Play impact on a child’s brain development Play has a significant impact on a child’s brain development. Scientists discovered that play leads to the enlargement of the prefrontal cortex. A child who is exposed to free play has healthier interactions with peers and is brighter because the prefrontal cortex is responsible for some of the core functions of the brain, such as problem-solving, planning, and emotional control. When a child engages in free play, they can initiate games that build up challenging scenarios, scenarios that expose the child to a rigorous thought process. It means that during play, the brain develops new circuits and connections that enable a child to successfully maneuver these complex interactions that arise, and when these neurons of the brain change, brain development takes place. As described in the first section, play contributes a lot to brain development, especially in the prefrontal cortex. It means that the child can get creative while problem solving, and they get an opportunity to discover new things. Because children often play in groups, they learn how to communicate with each…
