The Moral Theory Introduction During childhood period human life depends on the guidance and influence of the parents who dramatically plays a part in the formation of ego and superego. The impacts of the parent naturally do not only include the personality but also entails elements from family, ethnic and national traditions which are acquired through interactions. Therefore conscience is considered to be learned social character which is not determined by any form of morality and absence of God. Sigmund Freud developed a theory that illustrates that human psyche comprises of three components namely the id, ego, and superego. The identifier is considered to be the inner mind which consists of human feelings and desire. The ego is part of human consciousness which portrays what we offer to the world and our public behaviors. The superego entails the things including traits which we acquire from parents, community and other social concerns. According to Sigmund Freud argument, he refers to “conscience” as the conflict that exists between superego and Id. Freud considers religion to be obsessional neurosis and argues that the…

Principle of Electromagnetism The relationship between magnets, electricity, and light has been one of the fundamental discoveries in physics. Dating back to the sixteenth century, the knowledge about these phenomena was scanty, but in the nineteenth-century development of electromagnetism, it described the relationship between magnetism and electricity. James Clerk Maxwell established the relationship where he stated that one force mediated the interaction between positive and negative charges. Maxwell’s equation broke the barriers that had previously existed between the phenomena establishing light as a phenomenon under electromagnetism. Faraday’s discovery preceded maxwell’s work that the plane of polarization of a ray of light is rotated when it passes through a magnetic field. The connection he established between electromagnetic and optical phenomena later lead to the development of the theories of light and electromagnetism. In Maxwell’s theory, magnetic and electric forces are the same thing manifested differently. He further established in his argument that electric fields are produced by oscillating charges such as the ones in alternating current (AC). In his theory, Maxwell described light as a wave propagated by electric and magnetic…

Technology & Trend Monitoring  Introduction. Technology is defined as a body of knowledge applied in different areas such as making of objects, processing of different products, and the extraction. Technology is a broad term as it has been defined differently by different people.  Nowadays, technology is widely used in accomplishing various operations in daily activities. Technology is essential as it is used to simplify work, for efficiency, improve the quality and quantity, and reduce the costs involved in performing the activities. The technology uses scientific skill to solve the problems involved. Although both technology and science work together in solving different issues, they are two different subjects. Over years, technology has been improving rapidly on the operations in the daily activities. In the ancient days the production process to a very long time to be accomplished, production cost was too high, the products were of poor quality, consumed too much time, insufficient quantity and generally inefficiency in the whole production process. The introduction of the technology then started shedding some light to the improved way of performing daily activities in…

Nuclear Energy in Canada Nuclear energy in Canada is the core subject of this annotated bibliography report. And the overall purpose of this paper is to identify and illustrate the state of nuclear power in Canada.  Through the research process, my statement primarily focuses on collecting data from online articles, books, and popular sources like the New York Times. The core research question is the general factors surrounding nuclear energy in Canada. For instance, the significance of energy justice in Canada, precise nuclear upgrade projects in Ontario, the process of reopening reactors that are vital in the production of medical isotopes. And lastly, the functions and roles of essential organizations like the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, as the sole regulation organization that facilitates peaceful usage of Nuclear power in Canada. Annotated Bibliography Lorinc, J. (2019, July 1). Ontario Puts Nuclear Upgrade Plans on Ice. New York Times.            https://green.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/07/01/ontario-puts-nuclear-expansion-plans-on-ice/ According to Lorinc’s writing on the New York Times, the Canadian government stopped the twenty billion nuclear upgrade projects in Ontario due to a competitive bidding process that left no option but…

A projectile motion under air resistance Physics Introduction We set the initial value at rest. Provide the velocity and the mass of the object. For the first case, we are using a grain of different mass under free fall. When the grain is released from a height of 5cm, air resistance acts on the grain. The time it takes for the object to reach the surface increases, whereas the velocity also increases. The higher the velocity of the object, the higher the resistance. The graphs illustrate how air resistance acts on the objects under free fall. The initial velocity for the grain is zero(0), and it increases as air resistance works on the object. The same applies to projected objects except that the velocity reduces due to the action of air resistance. The graphs show how air resistance acts on the project’s objects. The ipynb files contain the python code. You can open them using jupyter notebook available online. For exercise one, we have attached the function.ipnyb file. The graph has been plotted with the quantities bv and cv2, both…

Dark Scholes model Abstract It is hypothesized that price charts can be observationally categorized into two parts, namely random and non-random. The non-random segment, which can be treated as around customary conduct of the prices (trend) in an epoch, is a geometric line. Therefore, the random segment varies around the non-random portion with different amplitudes. Besides, the state of a trend in an epoch might be diverse in another epoch. It is further hypothesized that statistical evidence can be found for different relations between a few sorts of trends and the course of the following developments of the prices. These hypotheses are tried on the verifiable information of the DJIA (Dow) and affirmed. In addition, it is statistically demonstrated that various trends that have happened in the close past course of the Dow can be used to foretell the distant eventual fate of the index. Therefore, there is an upcoming recession in the DJIA, which may predict an overall monetary emergency. In this thesis, the historical changes in the Dow Jones Industrial Normal index are analyzed. The distributions of index…

Realism and Anti-realism debate Thomas Kuhn, in his book, “The Structure of Scientific Revolutions,” he believed that linear progress of knowledge accumulation is not always the case in science, but rather periodic revolutions termed as paradigm shifts (Kuhn, 2012). A paradigm shift is a change in the fundamentally accepted basic concepts of a scientific field. This was a response to the already existing scientific realism. Realism proponents seem to be optimistic about the outcomes of scientific progress in solving scientific problems. It is the belief that science will eventually answer questions regarding what the world is like and that scientific theories are accurate and predictive successful in explaining scientific phenomena. Some of the characteristics of scientific realism include commitments; that science aims to give an accurate account of the universe, that the advancement of science is sequential on a real account, that accepting a theory is believing that it is true, among others (Mladenovic, 2017). However, since the onset of modern science, realism has been disputed, and scholars, including Kuhn, have attempted to find a more objective way of approaching…

Dyson AM07 Vs. AM08 Our focus in this post will emphasize two bladeless fans, Dyson AM07 vs. AM08. Both products have a lot in common, but still, there are those features that every buyer should consider when buying one. As such, we shall discuss the looks, settings, and functions of each so you can make a more informed choice. As you probably know, Dyson is a leading brand known for its quiet household appliances. The AM07 and AM08 are the latest versions of the louder models. With such a synonymous brand name, these products are associated with higher price tags, but they are both accompanied by a two-year warranty. When it comes to quality, Dyson is the best. And while these machines seems to be different, they both share an edge-cutting technology that’s only offered by Dyson. Dyson AM07 Tower Fan Review The AM07 model is one of the newest fans from Dyson. It is designed to replace the AM02, and it has notable improvements, especially when it comes to power efficiency, quieter operation as well as being capable…

Waverly Jong As a young child, Waverly Jong was a chess champion that retrieved advice and wisdom from her mother on how to become a better player. Her mother, Lindo Jong, had taught her the art of invisible strength, a technique used to show no emotion and to make herself characterized as innocent in the eyes of her opponent. Waverly Jong used this advice wisely, but sometimes she thought it was a bit too repetitive and annoying. After a particular chess game in which Waverly won, Lindo gave notice to her daughter by telling her to lose fewer pieces during the game. Lindo Jong had stated, “Lost eight pieces this time. Last time was eleven. What I tell you? Better off lose less!” (Tan 97). In Lindo’s eyes, she is using tough love to help her daughter further succeed, but Waverly is annoyed by this. She believes that she doesn’t need this advice due to her past accomplishments and develops an attitude toward her mother. Waverly is unable to see her mother’s purpose in her comments. She isn’t able to…

Article critique The article “Ethics in American Public Administration: A Response to a Changing Reality” seeks to address current pressing issues such as climate change, immigration, among others. The article employs ethical lenses to address these issues. Moreover, it recognizes the fact that American public administration ethics have not evolved in a vacuum. I agree with the author’s stand that administrative ethics have changed over a period due to being influenced by technology, legal, political as well as social forces. For this reason, I concur that ethics have not evolved through omission but rather have evolved by addition. It is evident from the abstract that ethics have played immense roles in addressing some of the pressing issues in society. In the first paragraph, the article centers on how to approach various moral and normative questions in multiple organizations. In as much as the importance of ethics in public organizations has been addressed by other authors. This article stands out since it features particular ethical challenges and concerns that have not discussed in public administration. Indeed, the article is quite significant…
