Methodology:methods applicable to investigate food security As discussed in the introductory part, several methods are applicable to investigate food security. In this research, a survey method will be utilized in the investigation. The responses given by various organizations dealing with food security will be used for the analysis of the levels at which food security is a threat to the world. Data will be collected from the data analysts in the World Food Summit who have been keeping data on the undernourishment status of the society. The head of the data analysis department in the WFS will be sending a mail with few questions to answer, which will be presented under the appendices. These questions will require him/her to attach copies of the undernourishment status report or randomly selected countries globally. Further, there will be a need for the responded to attach a summary of the food distribution in the selected nations. This data, upon receipt, will be analyzed using the SPSS software, where we will generate the undernourishment curve in the countries. The advantage of using SPSS software instead…
five persuasive strategies in some digital format Your task is to find and evaluate five persuasive strategies in some digital format (online pictures, ads, commercials, speeches, etc.). For each, do the following: 1. Provide a copy of the message. A link is generally sufficient. 2. Identify the persuasive goal. What is the sender trying to accomplish? 3. Identify the major persuasive barrier the strategy was intended to overcome. If the goal is to sell something, explain why people are unlikely to buy (independent of the advertisement). If the goal is persuade people to donate, explain why they are unlikely to donate (independent of the message). In short, the message needs to overcome a barrier; identify and explain that barrier. 4. Identify a major persuasive strategy employed in the message. [unique_solution]Using our list of strategies, explain which strategy (or strategies) dominate the message. 5. Argue briefly whether the strategy was likely sufficient to overcome that barrier. CARDING SHOULD NOT BE BANNED AS A POLICING PRACTICE For the past few decades, there has been controversy surrounding carding policy practice. This practice entails gathering information from individuals at random stops and then transferring the information collected in the database(Singh, 2015). Historically, carding was referred to as “intervention practice” or “street checks,”which is now commonly known as the “community contact policy.” In this essay, I will argue why carding should not be banned as a policing practice. In my opinion, I believe that carding practice should not be banned as community practice since it is useful; however, it needs fixing. Carding is vital because it helps police intelligence in gathering crucial information through street checks, particularly in some cases where there are precise suspicious circumstances(Singh, 2015). For instance, it helps the police officers in identifying the identity of a missing individual or victim of a particular crime. Therefore, the carding police practice should not be stopped because it aids in identifying crucial intelligence information and suspicious circumstances.. Besides, the carding police practice aids in broadening the protection of community…
Policy Issue Addressed The critical issue addressed involves changes in school safety policies as well as practices and programs. The changes occurred in New York during the administration of Mayor Michael. The policies will majorly affect schools which have had a large number of reported crimes. The population affected will majorly include students. The students are affected by crime through increased involvement which leads to arrests and suspensions from school. Surveys have indicated that there was an increase in suspensions as from the year 2006. Between the year 2006 and 2013, suspensions within these schools rose by 40%. However, there was a drop in suspensions in the year 2013. Also, the students tend to perform poorly, and their behaviour deteriorates. The researchers also noted that there was a 23% decline in suspensions between the years 2011 and 2013. The crime rate in schools has been of high magnitude in New York. Data collected shows that in the year 1990 and beyond, crime in schools was rampant. According to reports, crime activities increased by 16% among students. The crime was too…
Epidemiology Task 5 Part I Questions Is Dr. Holmes’ concern justified? Why or why not? Yes. The Doctor’s concern is justified. Indeed, he diagnoses three cases of cancer in a span of three years, which was not a usual case. Such cases showed a possible trend of the ailment. 2. What would be your next step if you were Dr. Holmes? Being in the shoes of Dr. Holmes, my next step would be to determine whether there exists a relationship between the prospected contaminated park following the careless waste disposal and my concern of possible trend involving brain tumors recently diagnosed. I would then take soil samples from the contaminated park and find out whether the victims had been exposed to it before. I would then determine whether there exists a link between the two variables, that is, the contaminated area and the current medical concerns.. Part II Questions Describe in your own words what a cancer cluster is. A cancer cluster refers to a relatively large number of unexpected cancer cases in the same locality. What is the evidence…
