Since childhood, I was fascinated with the scientific & technological revolutions such as the internet, cable television, aviation, and even atomic bomb. My inquisitive nature led me to read some mathematical and scientific biographies, including The Man Who Knew Infinity-Ramanujan and Wings of Fire-APJ Abdul Kalam. The missile man of India and an aerospace scientist emerged as an ideal for me pertaining to his magnificent scientific achievements in the areas of the civilian space program and military missile development. Despite of his poor background, he faced challenges and completed aerospace engineering. The invaluable contribution he made in the field of engineering was inevitable. This inspired me to embrace challenges and overcome the setbacks by focusing on my each effort to improve my life along with others, and in this way I took engineering as my career.

 

Intrigued to design mechanical products & processes and having a profound interest in mathematics, I was substantially encouraged to apply and study the classic discipline, B.E (Mechanical) from DY Patil College of Engineering in Pune University. The undergraduate course established my knowledge in Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Dynamics of Machinery, Automobile Engineering, CAD CAM Automation, Energy Engineering, Mechanical System Design and Advanced Manufacturing Processes and Industrial Engineering. The course reflected the industrial practice right from the first semester and provided several opportunities to engage in the projects developing my technical knowledge and skills like welding, milling, moulding as well as working on the CNC Lathe Machines. Although I have not taken any specialization course but my undergraduate studies administered the chances to learn the basics in CATIA, ANSYS and Autocad. It exposed me to the world of 2D and 3D modeling and mechanical simulation imperative during all the phases of product and system development to optimize the effectiveness.

In addition to academics, my leisure time activity is sports, especially playing cricket. My extraordinary skills in cricket helped me become the captain for my college cricket team that taught me how to motivate, inspire, and lead the team towards victory.
