Cognitive behavior theory
-The presenting issue was that Tiffany was fond of running away and also engaging herself in prostitution activities. Tiffany has been through a hard time due to her drunkard and careless parents.
-Tiffany was sexually molested, thus believed that she was filthy, and her crucial purpose was being a sex object. Her perceptions directly affected the way tiffany reacted to particular situations.
-Question 1-What do you feel and what thoughts cross your mind right before your anger outburst?
Question 2- Do you react the same around everyone, or it only happens when you are with specific people?
-The treatment plan includes the identification of toxic thoughts and employing strategies that assist in challenging and also overcoming the destructive thoughts. The treatment plan is also issue-focused and even goal-oriented.
-There are several results that I would measure to find out if the intervention has worked. The first out one would be evaluating the symptoms of the client by providing symptom checklists for clients to fill. I would also measure the occurrence or happening of particular target behaviors. Less or even no incidents would mean that the intervention is working or has worked. Lastly, I would assess the progress toward specific goals as would assist me in knowing if the intervention treatment had worked.
-Cognitive behavior theory can be applied in treating patients with similar issues as of those of the case. CBT can be used with the main aim of teaching such patients that despite them not being able to control every world’s aspect encircling them, they can take charge of the way they interpret or understand and even handle things in their surroundings.
