Summary: This article discusses the Canadian Oral Health Strategy and the goal of it being to raise the overall oral health of Canadians. They discuss some ways in which this can be done (through identifying inequities in the system, disparities in health and barriers to achieving optimal oral health. It discusses strategies that oral health professionals, organizations, regional health authorities and various levels of government can use to improve the oral health of Canadian citizens.
