Complaint
I am writing in response to a complaint about being unprofessional. It took place in a meeting that ended up in a disagreement between the clinician director and I. I am sorry that things went badly, but I did not mean to do anything wrong. My contribution to the meeting was a display of honest opinion and what I thought was feasible regarding the need for a job aide. Despite the opposing view, there was also contention about what was communicated during the last meeting. This resulted in a back and forth that looked like a shouting match. I regret that my voice emerged aloud because I intended to get my point across and seek an audience. The happenings are contrary to who I am since I am an individual who maintains a calm temperament.
I am passionate about my responsibilities and people at work, having worked in this organization for 19 years. Additionally, I present myself as an honest and respectful person to everyone, coupled with his or her diverse opinions. Human beings are fallible, and there is always a likelihood of making a mistake or being in the wrong. I am not perfect, although I feel that my voice was misconstrued as unprofessional despite having a naturally loud sound that is conspicuous even in ordinary conversations. I appreciate the diversity in the organization that enables it to thrive in the competitive marketplace. My perception of the events that transpired is an indication of a workplace conflict that emerges due to heightened diversity. Therefore, it is essential to manage diversity by understanding different opinions, values, and skills to ensure seamless communication among people (Sharma, Singh, & Pathak, 2018). The approach enables institutions to reap many benefits because it allows individuals to iron out their differences
I display efforts to treat people fairy daily. Accordingly, I request the organization to give me a fair hearing. I am ready to clarify anything unclear regarding the disagreements that arose.
