Just like most PM’s, a Project Manager is obliged to use programs whose systems requirements need minimum maintenance practices. At times, it is recommended that Project Managers should use multiple programs. Software inventory has to be compared with the minimum specifications required, too (Novedge.com, 2019). Bluebeam Revu CAD 2018 is the software that is subject to consideration in this case. Thus, the CPU has to be considered first because it typically coordinates all background communications. The evaluation of the CPU can, however, be challenging. Clock speed, architecture, process size, instructions per cycle, and other crucial factors determine the suitability of the CPU.
The number of cores a CPU possesses is also a crucial factor to consider. For 3D modeling, one may be forced to use more than four cores, and therefore, this means that users are always tempted to rely on the advantages that multi-core processors provide. Nevertheless, users have to ensure that programs are supported by suitable multi-core processors. For instance, AutoCAD operates on the basis of a single-threaded application (Andy, 2017). Also, for specific instructions, AutoCAD provides primary support to particular functions. An AutoCAD, however, does not have the power to use a multi-core CPU effectively. The buying of more cores will not even result in increased performance; more money would be wasted instead.
Overall, the PC’s motherboard has to have compatibility with the CPU; Intel and AMD will never mix. It is only essential for a user to invest in a card that has high quality graphics when the CPU possesses the power to control extra capabilities. The opposite, for this case, is also true. AnandTech, CPU World, and CPU Benchmarks provide suitable indicators essential in determining the best processors for use.
