- Chris mueller. 17 yo at the Bellevue school for emotional disturbed kids and in therapy group. Failed careers as a student and as a mini criminal. Con artist
- Brenda Colman. Paranoid schizophrenic. On meds, but not taking them. Believes govt and other agencies are out to get her. So paranoid
- Paul Trent.
- From Dominican Republic. Has aids. Her husband gave it to her. She is starving herself because as thinks no one will miss her. Life is not worth living. Her daughter, who is in foster care has to come to the hospital to get her to eat something.
But it is exactly that ability to see ourselves in others that enables us to forge the therapeutic alliance between us and our patients, which allows healing to take place.
