Demography is the process of counting individuals and also finding out the forces that are making the population change over time and their impact on an individual’s way of life. A good example is an immigration and how it affects the population of a country. Unlike the traditional years, this is an era where all the parents both the mother and the father work, so are the parents okay with their children staying at home with house helps or is it the nature of the situation, how the rise of most millennial young adults is bringing up a generation with no specific religion. The Population Association of America always holds an annual meeting and discusses issues related to demography growth of the year and how the United States of America and the world at large are changing.

The demographic report of America shows that the largest part of the population is based on races and ethnic backgrounds compared to the past and are even expected to become more diverse in the coming year. Statistics show that in the past fifty years, America has received more than fifty-nine million immigrants who come mostly from Asia and the Latin part of America. Currently, a good percentage of the country is foreigners, and the state believes that foreigners make the nation strong instead of what is always perceived as a burden (Recchi, 2019). The wide range of different people from different backgrounds and ethnicities makes it a better place for living as people share different experiences.

Asia has also recorded the largest number of immigrants to the United States of America and has, in turn, overtaken Mexico as Latin America at large. It has maintained the record in the history of having the largest number of immigrants. The number of immigrants who are not allowed in the country has also reduced, and Africa has the smallest number of immigrants to America. This has brought a big impact in the elections, too, thus changing the electorate and the American politics at large. The electorate is very diverse due to the increasing number of Hispanic people who are allowed to vote. There is also a very wide gap among people considering social and political categories and classes. The real problem comes when they fail to join a political party, which in turn call themselves political independents.

Millennials who are the people between the age of 1981 to 1996 have also outgrown the baby boomers who are the people born between 1946 and 1964. These two groups have very big and many differences. Millennials are very educated compared to their adults and have very many diverse backgrounds making it a very diverse adult generation. Due to a large number of adults, then they are struggling to keep up with the needs of their children in the small labor market (Bonni, 2008), trying to create a comfortable financial future. They are trying to seek the future they want to spend in the coming years. This has led to the rise in the number of women in leadership positions to rise, and the people living in the middle class has greatly reduced. No specific religion is identified, and the world is the aging reason being the number of adults is a lot more than that of the young as people have grown to believe in having small families.

The aging population is the increased number of old people in the society due to low fertility rates and the increased life expectancy, which is a trend that is going on worldwide and has grown to affect the economic, social and political factors hence having very many consequences (Sanlin, 2019). Population aging is soon going to lead to low labor in the markets, reduction in fertility levels, and also will increase the number of people who depend on each other. An aging population is a big challenge to the economic stability of a nation.

The problem of the aging population, however, can be counteracted by the government encouraging the people who are working to work for longer and engaging everyone in creative and volunteer projects that will help them grow both economically and socially (Ederveen, 2019). However, the older generation cannot be engaged in tough jobs, which bring in a situation of fewer people in the job industry. Hence policies to acknowledge the dignity and the capabilities of older individuals instead of giving them tasks that they cannot undertake, whether paid or unpaid, the autonomy and freedom of choice is the principle to handle the old. It is also essential to note that these projects may have short term costs due to retirement costs, which are the costs incurred by the employer but, in the long run, improve the welfare of most people in the nation.
