Culture is also seen as a shared pattern of behaviours which is found within the people who continuously come into interactions, and the people learn the practices socializations. Culture will combine different aspects like beliefs, values, religions, concepts of the universe and even the material objects which are initially owned by a group of people. The culture is always being passed from one generation to another.

Taking religion as aspects of learning and by analyzing Christianity from the outside perspective, we find that there are many shared values and practices which are shared by the Christian community around the world.

Christian community and its religious practices have steamed its way from life and teaching of Jesus of Nazareth, and that’s where the essence and identity of Christianity originated from. From the most basic perspective, we can recognize that Christianity is a tradition of faith that, in most cases, focuses its teachings on the figure of Jesus Christ. From the outsider’s view and opinion, there is a factor of faith which the believers must always hold on as an act of trust. As a tradition and a cultural practice, Christianity is more than a system of religious believers and in most occasions it. When looking at religion in the Christian community, we find that the worship mostly takes place in churches which are the meeting point for the people sharing the same culture. Several practices also mark the religious traditions in the churches, which are baptism and holy communion. Baptism among the Christian people can be classified as the initiations act, which marks one from none Christian to a member of the same cultural practices. The ceremony of baptism will be celebrated, and it will mark a none believer day of changing from his or her original artistic practice to a believer who follows the teaching and faith of Jesus Christ. There is also the practice of Holy Communion, which is Eucharist which the Christian community practices to represent the last supper which was taken by Jesus Christ and his disciples before he was crucified. The people who share the Christian culture always take bread and Eucharist to mark their unity as believers and the unity with Jesus. There are a number of rules and regulations which controls the behaviour of the Christian community and how they relate to other people within the community. The rules and laws which guide the faith are called commandments which are believed to give to mosses by God. The Ten Commandments gives believers the proper and channelled guidelines on what is wrong and what is right.

The writings of Christian culture are on a collection of books which is the followers call the bible and are grouped the old and new testaments. The Old Testament in the Christian community is a collection of writings which were added to the Jewish scriptures. The New Testament mostly records the teaching and the life of Jesus Christ. The Christian culture is about faith and believes in the Supreme Being who is the creator of the universe. The Christian community believes that there is life after death. The principle of the Christian community is historical, but there is find that there are transactions with the divine, which is the Holy Spirit charged with communicating information and guiding the human nature from the evil spirit.

The Christian religion believes that there is hell and heaven, which will be on the judgment day. Those who fail to keep the commandments and fail to repent their sins will go to hell. And those who follow the word of God will be rewarded when the world comes to an end. According to Christianity, there will be eternal life and eternal hell on the judgment day. There is also believe of faith and miracle whereby the people practising Christianity hold to the opinion that healing is done by the power of God and through prayer, which is the practice. In the Christian religion, there is a need to prioritize others. The believers esteem others to be more important than themselves. According to the Christians, it is always essential to sacrifice self-ego and always be ready to set our plans aside to do what is best for our neighbours. The Christian people are keeping these norms and value as what Jesus taught them; on most occasion, the love is not extended to the people sharing the same culture but to everyone, including non-believers.

On another culture, we will look at religion in the Muslim community from the insider’s view. Islamic is one of the major world religions which was founded and promoted by Prophet Muhammad in the land of Arabia. The believers and the Muslim community accept to surrender to the will of Allah. According to the Muslim culture, Allah is being viewed as the only God who is the creator of the universe. According to the Muslim religion, the will of Allah is made through the sacred Quran, and everyone must submit to the will of Allah. As Muslims, we consider Prophet Muhammad as the last series of the prophet on land. We believe all prophets who include Adam, Noah, Moses and Jesus to be equal before Allah.

All Muslims are always bound by a common faith and to the sense that they belong to the same single community and love of sharing amongst the believers is highly encouraged. The thought of brotherhood amongst the Islam brothers was taught from the beginning by Muhammad. The bond of faith amongst the followers of Mohammad helped to develop a feeling of the close relationship with one another. The culture of secure attachment and the mutual support on the socioeconomic content within the Islamic religion contributed in cementing the bond of faith of the believers. The social and religious character which is being practised by the Islamic community is a dual and expresses itself as one way of love by the religious community which is commissioned by Allah bring its value through Jihad which is a holy war. The women of the Muslim community are required to put on hijab which is along dressed as assign of self-respect to the woman and to the community and the religion.

The cultural practice of Muslim community is making sense in that it gives a believer a clear perspective of a number of events which happens in the daily life of an individual, and it appreciates that there are both good and bad things in life. The religion also encourages people to understand events and the purpose of life, which is to obey Allah. It teaches and promotes love for other people by sharing the little we have with the less blessed members of our society.

Analyze how religion developed as part of a social system within both Christianity and Islamic culture

When analyzing how religion developed among the Christianity culture, we look at the ancient world where it all stated. Christianity began as a teaching of one man coming from the minor civilization which was found within the outskirts of the Roman Empire and then spread to other parts of the world. After the death of Jesus Christ, who was the foundation of the Christian religion, his apostles took over the spread of the gospel. We find that Christianity did not leave the boundaries of Roman territory, which was mainly occupied by the Jews, but the word was spread after the death of Christ, which made many people join the religion. With the development of writing materials, it helped to spread the devotion to many people who could access to read the ord. The development of technology, like access to television and the internet around the world, has positively contributed to the development of religion amongst the Christianity community. The constant spread of Christianity religion among the believers led to the formation of the healthy family of believers with norms and social values to keep and protect as a culture.

Looking at how religion developed as a part of the social system within the Islamic community, we look and the origin and development of Islamic to the present date. In the around tenth century Islam was the most prominent religion and was the religion with the majority of people. The belief amongst the Islamic culture was one of the most significant facts in the history of humanity, and it spread over vast areas. People were adopting and practising the Islamic religion. People in the past and present have been ready to embrace Islamic faith due to several reasons which were pointed out by Mohammad, which include love for one’s brother. The Islamic religion appeared to be like excellent and organized work architecture due to the order on how the prayers are undertaken according to Islamic culture and traditions.

Analyze the purpose of religion as part of a social system both within Christianity and Islamic culture.

The purpose of religion as part of the social system among the Christians is from the order which it brings to the believers. The faith and religious belief have today become the determinant of the society moral ethos amongst the Christian community. The religion has contributed to teaching virtue and to shape up the moral within the society. To the Christians and believers, the aspects of religion have played a role in warranting special consideration and how people relate to each other. The doctrine also teaches the members always to obey the law and respect the authority this has contributed to a few believers being punished as lawbreakers. The Christian teaching of respecting other people’s property has brought order and respect in the society today.

The purpose of religion amongst the Islamic culture can be drowned from the teaching that society gain from being a believer in the Islamic practices and obeying Allah. In Islamic society, religion, liberty always determines a lot of vital interests of the community. It establishes the socioecological relationship between people. The religion encourages sharing and living with harmony within the society as everyone is like a brother. in the Islamic faith help the community to undergo reasonable protections which also gives room for good separations between the government activities and the religious practices. The contribution from the teaching of religion from Islamic society has led to strengthening the relationship of different institutions within the organization and broader community.
