Effects of Coronavirus
Over the recent past, the world has experienced a significant threat in the health sector due to the impact of the outbreak of coronavirus that has affected several activities internationally. Coronavirus is described as a highly contagious respiratory infection that belongs to the large family of viruses that might alter the body functions that range from the common cold to severe diseases such as the severe acute respiratory syndrome and the Middle East respiratory syndromes (Wintingham, 2018). The infection is unique in humans and recently discovered with the outbreak originating from China. Being highly contagious diseases, it has affected various activities. Therefore, public gatherings and groupings have been prohibited from reducing the spread of the disease. Consequently, I support the concept of closing businesses and schools to regulate the outbreak of the disease.
The concept of closing schools and businesses is useful with the aim of controlling the spread of coronavirus infections. Coronavirus is a new infection in the human species. Thus medical prevention measures have not been attained. Coronavirus is a threat to the human species as it leads to death when not contained adequately. Therefore, caution and steps should be taken to purpose in regulating the new cases of infection. Avoiding crowded places such as schools, churches, and business places would be useful in limiting the cases where the infected individuals reduce the contacts with the negative persons (Wintringham, 2018). Therefore, making a better position to restrict contact by avoiding crowded places such as schools helps in reducing the cases of corona in the country, thus promoting the stability of the nation.
However, the effects of closing schools and businesses have significant impacts on the learning systems and economic world in general. The directive of closing schools has been attained with the interest of regulating the spread of coronavirus. However, as a senior high school candidate, I would be affected due to the incompletion and suspension of studies indefinitely, thus affecting the period of research and more time would be taken in school instead.
