I want to work for Microsoft Corporation. The company is located in Redmond, Washington, in the United States. The company deals in the software industry. The corporation’s mission is “to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more” (Harris & Ashley 119). Microsoft is a multinational company since its operations are done in more than 200 countries, but its management is based in their country of origin, Unites States of America
Partial analysis Microsoft Corporation
Microsoft organization is subjected to various political factors. One of the worst political threats facing Microsoft is the risk of invasion by the military. The company is well-developed, and thus, the military may interfere with it due to the security crisis in the world. Secondly, intellectual property protection also affects the operations of Microsoft politically. Legal and regulatory factors affecting Microsoft include copyright, patent, or intellectual law. Such exposes the company to such problems as copyrights infringement or copying from other upcoming companies dealing with software technology. Data protection is also affecting Microsoft Corporation. The government expects the company to use technology that does not subject its users to vulnerabilities (Harris & Ashley 127). Technology is changing at a fast rate globally, thus affecting many corporations, similar to Microsoft. Recently, companies dealing with software have developed the same technology as one used in Microsoft. As such, it has led to an increase in competition. Technology has also led to an improvement in the product offering. The firm’s customer satisfaction has been achieved through automating operations. Such has helped in the maintenance of sensitive consumer information. I also learned that through operations of Microsoft in different countries, exchange rates and currency stability had experienced stability for long.
The area of interest
My area of interest in computer science but specifically in artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is a modern technology that allows machines to imitate intelligent human behavior. My interest in the field is of artificial intelligence is its intriguing technological perspective and deep learning. The concept of how artificial intelligence and its application makes one rethink regarding meaning and purpose of life as well as work allows me to figure much creativity in the field (Lu et al., 370). The fact that artificial intelligence has led to the performance of activities that were not even figured out that it can ever be done in the universe is a clear indication of transformations required in the world. For instance, the industry has led to an improvement in health and finance, among other business activities.
Conclusion
What is important to me for the desire to work in Microsoft is its fast development in artificial intelligence. I view that it is an area where I can deliver my expertise as well as find mentors who can help me in achieving better in computer science. In the corporation, their integral part is working with committed employees who can add value to its operations and thus an improvement on the firm’s output. Microsoft Since the early 1990s has been the best company in the world in the software industry. As well, the firm’s mission of helping others has been of great importance to many people who desire to build their careers. Therefore, I feel that the company has the magnitude and willingness to nature my career, especially with its fast-developing artificial intelligence industry. My decision is also influenced by the vast operations of the company in the world. Thus, given the opportunity, I can deliver my responsibilities anywhere in the world, not specifically in the USA.
